[The video feed turns on to flowers. Flowers in boquets. Flowers in vases. some flowers clearly set aside for other purposes. Flowers on tribbles. Flower crowns and leis on a swizard who looks way too pleased with herself. Asbel's suite is full of them, or at least the view from his console, and he looks...well, significantly less frazzled than he had in getting them home, but that's not saying much.]

...So I don't suppose, in the middle of all this, anyone needs some flowers? Flower crowns, boquets, home decoration...anything like that.

[He coughs, faintly, before moving on.]

Actually, on that note, does anyone have any suggestions for what to do with these...? I have way more than I need for seeds or flower tea.

[He pauses and watches a tribble just sit amongst the flowers and coo, and sighs heavily before ending the video.]

It's certainly impressive, just uh-- why would they think that? And why flowers? Did you tell them it's for a lady?

I was...describing something that happens back home, for what I wanted seeds for. I guess they thought I meant I wanted to dump a whole bunch of flowers on someone.

Had Asbel described the lady for whom he is intended, he would have been handed more flowers than this. For one such as our precious angel of joy, nothing short of the entire royal gardens could be a suitable tribute. The lady in question is gracious, kind, beloved by all, and in possession of such resolve and strength of character that there is no doubt all her desires will be fulfilled. She is cherished by all those she knows, and she has a most pleasant singing voice that would comfort anyone through any troubles. Hello there, Richard. [She greets easily, seemingly unfazed by Asbel's trouble with choking on the sidelines. She's a bro, really.] Would I be given the honor of meeting this lovely lady, or is she sadly not here for me to know.

[w/e Asbel will live, Richard is being supportive.] Unfortunately, Cheria is not here with us.

[Richard puts a hand on Asbel's shoulder. Firmly. This is the behaviour of someone who has seen his best friend's romance talents and despaired. Richard is honestly still amazed Asbel ever managed to say anything to Cheria.] She certainly is. Isn't she, Asbel?

[Asbel...sighs, his face still in his hands, and since Richard's touching him he can probably hear Lambda snickering.

She's amazing. [He repeats it, and it comes out both sighed and reverent because he doesn't have any idea how she's put up with him for this long either, but he's not going to question it.]

[These boys. Also, Asbel you are so whipped.] Well, look at it this way. If she does appear, at least now the kedan would get the right idea of what you'd want for her. Though if what Richard is telling me is true, you might need an extra room.
