edgeoftheknife[The video shows a posh interior scene--silken curtains, low sofas, cushions, and more pretty people wandering through the background of the video than you can shake a stick at. It's luxurious. Almost flamboyant. Which, amusingly enough, is still no match for the flamboyance of the person in the center of the video feed.
Yep, it's Rue again. He's been missing in action since the night of the Masquerade, and missing from the network a little longer still, but here he is: he's wearing the closest kedanese equivalent of a frock coat, sky blue and satiny, with frilly cuffs and a wide-brimmed hat as usual. What little face can be seen beneath the hat is powdered and rouged and bears a perfect smile of lipstick. He's even found himself a fancy cane with a silver handle in the shape of a flower.
He's back, and he's addressing the network from what looks like a brothel.
When he speaks it is, as always, in a high-pitched, nasal English accent.]
Good morning my darlings--or is it good evening? I do believe I've lost track of the hour.
[He waves a hand imperiously, dismissing the thought.]
Anyway! It has come to my attention that we've arrived at our destination. A new land to explore, new peoples to meet, et cetera et cetera. So tell me, my dears, what have you seen? Is there anywhere on this new rock I simply must go for myself? How is the culture, darlings? The fashion?
...or if you've not yet gone yourself, would anyone care for a companion?
[There's a suggestive little smile at the end, there.]
