[Hello, Turtle. Here is an Enjolras who looks a bit embarrassed that he's even started this late night/very early morning post, but well. The question he wants to ask IS actually a valid one, now that he has TIME to ask it, and he finds the current most popular phrases to be incredibly awkward or childish so..The hell with it. People have asked all sorts of questions here, haven't they? He's clearing his throat, flushing a little, then glancing into the vid directly and clearing his throat.]

A question, everyone.

I find that most of the current terms for one's...romantic friend...but more than such are either juvenile or not quite accurate. 'Boyfriend' for example, makes us sound as if we were children, 'Partner' has several connotations that do not immediately state the obvious and 'Lover' sounds particularly awkward.

[And well, they have not quite gotten to the lovers stage yet. Enjolras is hardly ready for it and still accustoming himself to the kissing and cuddling things that he never let himself seek out in life.]

When others here speak of the other piece of their soul as he is to me...what terms seem to work best for you?

[He will deny this video happened later. He really will. He just...really wishes to know and can't sleep so...here it is. Have fun with it?]

[And Enjolras is ducking his head a little, also slightly pink. Perhaps he should have locked this. After all, he's basically confessed to the turtle, hasn' he? Perhaps someone should check with their boyfriends or soulmates or other halves or whatever before doing so. But that IS a little smirk he's giving back after a moment's pause.]

Citoyen Consort has arisen as a possibility, you know, so you might wish to refute PART of the statement. It was very late. Or early.

[He just raises an eyebrow.] Must you? 'Consort' does not --well, you understand why I do not like it, I should think.

I did say that this was an incredibly late night flight of madness did I not? Rest assured, my dear, you shall not be a "consort" .

[philosophe]

You did. Have you not been sleeping well, again?

Not particularly. Sleeping has proved overrated so far in life, you know.

It DOES put me back at the searching stage.

[philosophe]

Perhaps, but you do still need your rest.

Well. Perhaps you might make inquiries of Courfeyrac?

[And that's a bit of an eyeroll Enjolras is giving his screen. Because you know, he's protected over in his right next door suite or something.]

Yes, yes of course.

...Courfeyrac? Oh HELL.

[There's an entirely innocent look.]

It was only a suggestion.

I suppose that if one wishes to ensure I get it properly, then it would be logical for that person to take matters into his own hands, now wouldn't it?

[His own look back as he says this is equally innocent as well. But you know. Come over for cuddling if you want him to sleep, Ferre. It's a terrible bargan isn't it?]

I am just imagining the possibilities with him.

[There's a fond grin.]

They are terrifying, aren't they? [And it is only the work of a moment or two for him to be letting himself into Enjolras' place and heading over to greet him.]

[Enjolras own little nod is pleased as he grins back.]

Then I await you, certainly.

With any luck, not thinking of those possibilities too deeply.

[Ah good then, there he is. Enjolras moves to start some tea as he hears him coming in, so they can settle in comfortably for a while.]

[Oh, good. Combeferre comes to drape his arms over Enjolras' shoulders, in that case.] Good evening.

[solo_patria]

[And Enjolras is turning, from measuring tea into a strainer, to give Combeferre a bit of a sideways kiss.]

So it is, now.

[philosophe]

Well, yes, I am in your company. Are you well?

[solo_patria]

Oh, I am quite. You are here now.

[philosophe]

[There's a bit of a nuzzle to his neck there.]

Do you not sleep very often? I wish you would tell me.

[solo_patria]

[And Enjolras is quite happily returning that, though Combeferre might notice a guilty bit of eyedart as he asks that question.]

Not especially worse than I did in Paris.

[Is finally what he settles on. It IS the truth, really. It's simply that he did not sleep so much there either, not that he let Combeferre in on every detail of that all the time. Sleeping is difficult when there is much more to do is all. But he still feels a bit bad for keeping it from him.]

[philosophe]

[He catches that and frowns a little.]

Very well, but even so. I would like you to take care of yourself.

[solo_patria]

I know that you would. And I cannot say I am not trying, really.

[If by trying, we mean, well, not at all, actually. Which is probably fairly obvious since his bed is made in exactly the same way it was three days ago. He slept at his desk for about two hours yesterday? Does that count?]

It helps having you here.

[He just glances around at the room and gives Enjolras a bit of a look.]

Well. Perhaps it would be better if we -- slept together? Not in a -- as Courfeyrac and Pontmercy do, for now, I think.

[solo_patria]

[And Enjolras is sort of following his glance and, that's not exactly a cringe, but it IS a little bit of a shrug that admits that, fine. He is not exactly sleeping as things stand. As far as what Combeferre suggests though? Well, he's nodding a bit, a small smile on his face.]

Perhaps so, if you would not be overly disturbed. I do relax with you, certainly.

[philosophe]

Of course I would not be, we do it often enough. [There's a small smile in return, and a bit of a kiss.] I wish to help you, that is all.

[solo_patria]

So we do at that.

[And Enjolras is returning that kiss quite happily enough.]

I merely, well. If you had become more comfortable there or something. Which does sound ridiculous considering you might be there and back within a moment or two.

[philosophe]

It is no bother at all, save for my equipment and such. That may stay there, I suppose.

[solo_patria]

Or perhaps...

[Enjolras is eyedarting a bit here because this is slightly insane.]

...When I was slightly less rational after arriving here, Iskierka and I attempted to knock out some of her walls. We may be able to simply do that in an actual safe and constructive way.
