[Hello, Turtle. Here is an Enjolras who looks a bit embarrassed that he's even started this late night/very early morning post, but well. The question he wants to ask IS actually a valid one, now that he has TIME to ask it, and he finds the current most popular phrases to be incredibly awkward or childish so..The hell with it. People have asked all sorts of questions here, haven't they? He's clearing his throat, flushing a little, then glancing into the vid directly and clearing his throat.]

A question, everyone.

I find that most of the current terms for one's...romantic friend...but more than such are either juvenile or not quite accurate. 'Boyfriend' for example, makes us sound as if we were children, 'Partner' has several connotations that do not immediately state the obvious and 'Lover' sounds particularly awkward.

[And well, they have not quite gotten to the lovers stage yet. Enjolras is hardly ready for it and still accustoming himself to the kissing and cuddling things that he never let himself seek out in life.]

When others here speak of the other piece of their soul as he is to me...what terms seem to work best for you?

To have you come before him, as you are now, and ask if he remembers. You are quite changed, certainly. Unless you would not prefer, and we may skip that, of course.

That certainly is fair enough, I will confess. We need not do so then.

I suppose so at least. At any rate, it will be good to have my friends knowing each other here, I can say that.

At my best, I am quite the same and thus far, Courfeyrac has tolerated me.

Really, I think it shall be fine.

I do hope so. It should be a shame for him to be the only one of you that I do not get along with.

I think that it would mostly be Grantaire that there might have been a risk with. He could be particularly...Ah... Interesting at times. In ways that bordered on offending people. But the others...it should be quite fine I think.

[Poor Jehan. Well, he'll have to GET used to her eventually. Or something.]

I believe Grantaire and I would have gotten along quite well. [Alcoholics in love? Who committed Suicide by Barricade? Why wouldn't they?]

Do you? Well, perhaps then. He was always the hardest man to understand, but you do seem to understand much.

[In Enjolras's head though? It would take one or two of Grantaire's rants to set her off, or for something that she said to SEND him on one of those rants of offense and then all bets would be off. That said, he's sorry the chance does not seem possible.]

I do. Pity we have never had the chance. There is nothing to do but to hypothesize.

[Probably. But under that would be an understanding.]

It is, quite. It would have been interesting, certainly.

[Interesting. to say the least there, Enjolras.]

Well there is always hope he will return.

Perhaps so at that. There ARE things I would say to him at any rate.

[Not that Enjolras knows EXACTLY what he'd say. But he knows the GIST of them.]

I am sure you would. We all have things we would say to those that left us.

[She even had things to say to her parents, to Cosette.] Or to those that we are leaving. [Her confessions to Marius, after all, were not forgotten by her, even if he had been the one to forget.]

Like those things I would have wished to say to Marius, in those who we are leaving, yes.

[Things that have little to do with what they've fallen into here, though that's confirmed his thoughts on a few of those matters. The man's courage, which he had first seen at the barricades namely, but also the desire to tell him to live the life he wished to, even if it is not one Enjolras would agree with himself. That one, well. Better not to bring it up.]

Some of those things are far better left unsaid here somehow, though others I might manage. But yes, I have other things I would have, should have said.

If I have a major regret in our deaths, it is not letting them know what they meant to me when I had the moments. It is said that people we care for can know, but it would have been best for them to hear it. Well, those who are here know a little now at least, for all the good it does.
