[He swallows, looking down for a moment. It's never a good feeling. Dick's not even sure how he would handle it.]

I know it's kind of cliched and stupid, but if you need to talk to someone.. or drink with someone... I get it. [He really doesn't know how he'd handle it. But if it ever happens, he'd want the offer he just gave. So he gave it.]

Yeah, it's supposed to count. It's kind of a weak one, though. But... I don't know how much it helps, but I've talked to a lot of people here, so far? And it's not uncommon. Which is an awful thing, but you're supposed to feel surrounded by friends.

Right, I can understand how that works. Sometimes, with anything, it gets to that... if your favorite pizza place burns down, it's harder to go to a new one. And if they keep burning down, then eventually you might say 'I'll never eat pizza ever again'. But pizza is delicious, and you should never get to that point, where you won't eat anymore pizza.
