Greetings. I am Commander Spock of the USS Enterprise, a Starfleet contingent of the United Federation of Planets. I understand that we are temporally isolated as well as spatially displaced and that this is not a subdivision of any one possible multiverse, neither a pocket dimension of any one universe, but a unique quantum singularity linking many and each possible variation thereof. If others here have scientific findings of this nature, I pre-emptively extend my gratitude in the event of any information being divulged.
[ AKA pls share ur theories. He's not human, in case anyone with eyes and ears missed the blatant memo staring them in the face, the approximation of what would happen were a dollop of raw science and a great jawline to get mixed with an elf in a blender. Spock pauses thoughtfully, glancing away, and a single slender brow arches when he looks back; there are likely a great deal of customs to be observed from numerous new species and races, none of which he seeks to offend. ]
It has been brought to my attention that this is not my first foray into Keeliai. While I would request that you exert a measure of patience with my ... freshly acquired outlook, you will find me amenable to revisiting former acquaintances. [ Again he hesitates, though this time it comes across as more of an amendment. If you've been hanging out with his BFF, prepare to explain why, how and to what end. ] Similarly, I wish to meet with any and all allies of Captain James T. Kirk at their earliest convenience.
All remaining Starfleet personnel are to submit a fully comprehensive report effective immediately regarding their time here. Audio will suffice, given the circumstances.
[ And off goes the feed. ]
video;
[ Entire realities lined up together, none of them related outside of their own possible variations. ]
Fascinating. Commander Shepherd, may I pose you notable historical events from the Earth I have come to familiarize myself with in an effort to discover whether our universes share the same lineage? I will keep my queries brief, should you desire.
video;
[Shepard gives a slight shake of her head, and a vague hand wave.] No, by all means, ask away. I'm happy to help.
video;
video;
[This is mostly going the way she expected it to - almost like different words for the same basic things, which is what her conversations with Kirk and McCoy have largely amounted to as well.]
We have FTL drive cores in our ships, and we utilize mass relays to travel between clusters of systems. Mass effect fields generated by element zero can alter the mass of objects, allowing us to travel much faster than standard FTL.
video;
[ Cue one super attentive Vulcan when she talks shop, eyes quick and hungry. ]
Warp engine technology employs a Gravimetric Field Displacement Manifold through which an anti-matter/matter reaction creates a subspace shield that allows each craft to exceed the speed of light. I would postulate that your mass effect field acts as the equivalent, with element zero a substitute for dilithium from the hypersonic series.
video;
[She tilts her head slightly, glancing away.] Would it be rude of me to ask you what species you are? You look almost human, but you're clearly... not.
video;
video;
Where I come from, only the asari look anything like humans, and they're blue-skinned and mono-gendered.
video;
Humanoid life is rife through the Alpha-Quadrant, roughly one-quarter of the Milky Way. Many variations in the epidermis are found with Andorians sporting the blue hue of which you speak, though they do use classifications of gender.
video;
And there's still the elcor, they're quadrupeds, and the hanar are basically... big jellyfish. But we've got sapient life in... well, I'd say one-quarter is a generous estimate. Even with the mass relays, there's still a lot of unexplored space.

video;
Except I hear you guys don't have biotics. At least, Kirk and McCoy seemed surprised by mine.
video;
video;
video;
Would you permit me to take a tricorder reading of that ability?
video;
Oh, and I, uh. I have some other... enhancements that might show up but aren't... normal even for biotics where I come from. Cybernetics.
...Actually, Miranda might want to know about this. [Haha yeah, Shepard, might wanna tell the woman who is responsible for the cybernetics before submitting yourself to tests...]
video;
[ It won't interfere, but it will record every little detail. 'Miranda'? ]
If you must apply to your superiors for confirmation of authorization, there is no rush.
video;
It's the polite thing to do, let her know I'm letting other people run tests. And she'll know how to handle things if anything starts going haywire.

It's a pretty long story, actually. Miranda isn't even in the Alliance. It all happened outside the chain of command. [Technically, Shepard isn't really in the Alliance anymore, either. Or, well. She was on leave. Pending investigation.]
video;
[ That is an important technicality. (!!) He sounds curious, though hesitant, as if he isn't sure entirely what it implies. ]
video;
I mean, I didn't know her when she was saving my life, we became friends later. But yes.
