Greetings. I am Commander Spock of the USS Enterprise, a Starfleet contingent of the United Federation of Planets. I understand that we are temporally isolated as well as spatially displaced and that this is not a subdivision of any one possible multiverse, neither a pocket dimension of any one universe, but a unique quantum singularity linking many and each possible variation thereof. If others here have scientific findings of this nature, I pre-emptively extend my gratitude in the event of any information being divulged.
[ AKA pls share ur theories. He's not human, in case anyone with eyes and ears missed the blatant memo staring them in the face, the approximation of what would happen were a dollop of raw science and a great jawline to get mixed with an elf in a blender. Spock pauses thoughtfully, glancing away, and a single slender brow arches when he looks back; there are likely a great deal of customs to be observed from numerous new species and races, none of which he seeks to offend. ]
It has been brought to my attention that this is not my first foray into Keeliai. While I would request that you exert a measure of patience with my ... freshly acquired outlook, you will find me amenable to revisiting former acquaintances. [ Again he hesitates, though this time it comes across as more of an amendment. If you've been hanging out with his BFF, prepare to explain why, how and to what end. ] Similarly, I wish to meet with any and all allies of Captain James T. Kirk at their earliest convenience.
All remaining Starfleet personnel are to submit a fully comprehensive report effective immediately regarding their time here. Audio will suffice, given the circumstances.
[ And off goes the feed. ]
action;
It was not my intention nor my wish for that to happen. Another resident here has a magical accident which caused a variety of effects, one of them being abilities transferring from one individual to another. I would not have willingly given him the Archive to carry for any point in time. You have my word on that.
action;
If this is true, will you assist me in determining a method that will heal him? His mind is human and as such has been put under immense strain.
action;
I will do what I can, if he desires it. I will not act against his wishes. But you have my promise.
action;
[ Jim's impatient, basically. ]
action;
In theory. I know such magic and have the skill to perform it, however I can only do so in very specific circumstances. The third of the Seven Laws of Magic forbids the invasion of another's mind. I would require both his agreement and his complete understanding of what I would do before undertaking any acts of psychomancy.
[ And even that would be pushing it. The only safe choice when it came to psychomancy was to simply leave it be. ]
action;
[ That, and he's already dead set against letting anyone else near Jim's mind. ]
I request information if you happen to come across methodology you believe would prove beneficial to his current condition, that is all.
action;
You are from a period more advanced than mine, but should you desire, I have all written methods of psychology poor to approximately 2013. Papers, experiment data, books; anything written I can recall at will with complete comprehension. I doubt I will find new information here, but I will be aware of it.
action;
[ Until then, he'll wing the human psychology. Jim wouldn't appreciate Spock having to read up on his brain, he's certain. ]
Contrarily, is there any way in which I can be of assistance to you?
action;
[ It's not like she has to think about the information, she's perfected simply filtering straight through the knowledge in her mind to the things which are useful. ]
And no, I do not need any assistance. As I do not need to travel by car, I am able to completely function on my own. Thank you for asking.
[ No need for a chauffeur here, and there are few people powerful enough to not slow her down should danger arise. ]
action;
[ The sentiment is thin and the words are simply pieces of a puzzle. Spock feels more than satisfied with what he's seen of her. ]
I believe this concludes our business for the time being. I will remain in contact.
action;
[ She's more than happy to end this conversation. It was hardly the one she was looking forward to when they first agreed to meet. ]
