[Tony starts out sitting in front of the console. He's a little slow to start up what he wants to say-there's an awkward pause beforehand like he's just sizing them up through the video itself.]

So, I've been busy lately. And I've gotten a little distracted by other things, but-

[Something catches in his throat and cuts him off. Tony clears his throat and tries to look casual and calm. He's distracted and maybe in need of some sleep, with his attention wandering from the feed, but he's not going to drop the flippant tone. Especially not now.]

But apparently there have been some strange disappearances lately, and those people might actually still be around.

[He seems to want to say more, but his heart isn't in it. Maybe he should be offering to try to help those semi-disappeared people. Probably. Unfortunately he can't make himself do that.]

That's not what I want to talk about. I need... [Don't finish that, Stark.]

I need someone who knows how to take care of flowers. Horticulture isn't my thing and I have some and I have to make sure they, they don't die, so if you have any advice, I could use it. That or animal counselors. I'm sure those exist out there somewhere.

[He hesitates there. Being addressed that easily probably means a mix-up.]

[And that still sounds wrong. But hey, he's got to live with it.]

But, for what it's worth, I don't really mind flowers. Usually I give them, not get them, that's all.

Well, we share a lot. Not just the name. But the name is the important part.

[He smirks just a bit there. Just kidding?]

I have flowers. I don't know what to do with them, honestly. It's never been a secret dream of mine to become a florist.

I suppose water and give them plenty of sunlight would be best. But you probably already knew that much. I'm sorry... I'm not much help in this despite having an affiliation to the earth.

Yeah. It's apparently a universal truth. Dogs bark, the wind blows, and Tony Stark is a genius.

An affiliation? As in magic or conservation groups?

Protector of the Earth, more or less sounds right. I use these powers to keep people safe.

Oh. [Well, that actually makes sense. Don't be rude, Tony.] Oh. I mean, uh, that's good.

I don't suppose you can magic up a suggestion for where to put flowers? Or not magic works too. I'm kind of short on space.

[ He laughs softly, but says nothing else on that subject. ]

Hm, would you be willing to let me have them or are you against that suggestion?

I... Well, I'm not against it.

[He's hesitating, though, because getting rid of all of them just like that seems harsh.]

What would you do with them?

I would love them like they were my children, because they are precious gifts that someone gave you.

[definingfuture]

Uh. [Well, that's... an answer.] But why would you want them? They're just flowers.

[barebacking]

Flowers are not just flowers.

They are words and feelings in a beautiful state that may very well die but for the time that they live... those feelings live.

[definingfuture]

[That gets a surprised look.]

You take your flowers pretty seriously.

What if I kept some of them? Would you show me what they need?

A friend of mine has an affiliation with them.

And, I would be more than happy to help you out in that respect, Tony.

A friend, huh?

[He considers that, and then nods.]

All right. You can take some of them if you show me how to keep the rest alive.

Ah... so now that we are starting out as friends... I wonder if I'll get confused, again...

It's not that confusing, is it?

[Tony frowns slightly. Is Yaha going to say that he's just like the other Tony Starks?]

Well, you're both so handsome.

I'm going to really have a time being around such good-looking people. Dazzled, I suppose.

[definingfuture]

[Okay, that gets a laugh out of him. It's a little surprised just because he wasn't expecting that answer specifically, but he's not shocked.]

Well, if you confuse attractive people with each other that easily then you'll never remember who we are.
