[It's been awhile since Bianca's made a network post, but here she is again.]
This is going to be on the long side, but I have a few announcements regarding the clinic to make, and then something regarding Thanksgiving. [If the clinic info doesn't keep people's attention, the thought of food certainly will.]
First off, the kedan are expecting winter weather and cold temperatures to hit us soon, and the Dr. Natu clinic [Even if Soranik isn't here anymore, it makes sense to keep calling it that] received vouchers for warm clothing. If you don't have the funds to purchase winter clothing like coats, especially if you're a new arrival, stop by our clinic here in Earth, [Directions to the building here, with a location ping] and pick one up.
Ours isn't the only clinic to get these vouchers, so if there's one closer to you, you don't need to make your way out here.
Second, once a week from this point onward, we're also going to be offering classes on basic first aid, what to do in case of medical emergencies, and general health classes, among others. These are open to everyone, including the kedan, and while we'll be charging for each class, it's to help fund the clinic and to pay for the supplies for the basic first aid classes. If you don't have any experience with first aid, I heavily suggest signing up, since we'll also be including a first aid kit with the first aid classes.
We'll also be having a full staff day on these same days. If you haven't had a physical or checkup recently, the full staff days would be the best time to get one, especially with cold weather approaching.
Finally, on a more personal note, since we had Halloween about a week ago, [Even if that went badly with all the disappearances going on] for a lot of us, that means that Thanksgiving is a few weeks away. I know not everyone celebrates it, and that not everyone has family or friends from where they came from here with them, but I want to invite everyone here to EA-1A for Thanksgiving dinner in three weeks if they want to join Jaime and me, and you don't have other plans.
If you decide to come, feel more than free to bring something along with you if you like for the table.
[Anyone who has CR with Jaime or Bianca would be getting a personal invite delivered in person for this by Jaime.]
[OOC:Most of the clinic information, besides the cold weather voucher bit, can be found here.
The forward dated Thanksgiving log can be found here.]

Did the kedan say just how cold it's going to get?
And you're just going to have vouchers at the clinic? Not the actual clothes themselves?
[Sorry for the bad news there.]
We only got vouchers at the one I work at, sorry. But you're supposed to be able to turn them in at any of the local tailors or stores for warmer clothing.

Oh right we should probably label this as action, right?
yes this is true ~action~
Well that's done, we can move on to wittier subject headers now
May I suggest a reciting from Les Miserables
I'm more partial to Shakespeare myself
alas, poor yorick, i knew thee well
A fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.
infinite jest is a very long book
Wallace isn't really my bag, personally. You should give Cormac McCarthy a shot.
We could all dive off the deep end and read Ulysses
I prefer the Dubliners myself.
...that's a length I could actually read
It is very easily readable!

With that sort of expression on his face, she's definitely expecting something, especially since he came to the clinic.

Is there anything I should do? I mean, besides the stuff you've just put up.

I'd appreciate any ideas you have for how we should do these classes, since we'll be the ones teaching them.
[Even if Dr. McCoy wasn't mute right now he still wouldn't be allowed to teach these even if he wanted to.]

[Bart is trying to be all nonchalant here.]
You're having Thanksgiving dinner? You know how many of us there are right?

[Volunteering at the clinic shouldn't be the only option for learning something potentially vital like first aid.]
And on the subject of Thanksgiving, yes, I am. And not exactly, but if in the off chance too many people show up and we run out of room we can always move it to the clinic or another building instead.
[Thanksgiving on the move.]

[She should probably introduce herself.] I'm Commander Shepard. I don't suppose you know where we might find a list of all clinics in Keeliai that received vouchers? It might be good to disseminate that information, especially for those who are newer and don't know their way around yet, or where their nearest clinic might be.
[Something her medical team might want to get on top of.]
video;
There was a list, but it'll need to be translated first. [The problem with it being in Kedanese, oops.] When I get back to the clinic, I can get that taken care of and have Jaime take a copy to you unless you'd like to stop by personally.

Stuffed turkey, along with things like gravy, yams, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and pecan pie and pumpkin pie afterwards.

[Teddy doesn't need to learn first aid for any personal reasons, but it does seem like a practical thing to have knowledge of. Especially considering what they could be facing here.
But he does need to watch his funds carefully to make sure he has enough for things like food and clothes.]

You're seriously giving away jackets?

No, we have vouchers so people who can't otherwise afford it or need help can get cold weather clothing before the temperature drops.

If people are interested in taking first aid and don't have the funds to pay for it themselves, I'd be willing to cover the costs as a private citizen. I think it's a very important skill for people to have in times of crisis. I understand that Doctor Natu wished to keep the clinic as independent as possible, so if you'd rather not I completely understand.
[A sheepish little smile as he realizes he hasn't introduced himself.]
I'm Bruce, by the way. Bruce Wayne. At your disposal.
Her son extorted you into saving people once.]That's a generous offer of you, Mr. Wayne. I appreciate it, but we should be able to subsidize it on our own if anyone's in need.
We wouldn't be able to do this without what your company provides.
I'm Bianca Reyes.
