Hello. Those kedan weren’t kidding when they told me what this box does, were they? Well, it’s nice to meet my neighbors, though I hope you won’t mind me saying that I’d rather see you all in person. If I had the food, I might even host my own personal welcome-party!

If anyone has any favorite restaurants or tea shops, I would love to hear about them. Or a pai sho board. Mine is back home, and I don’t think I’ll be getting use of it any time soon.

Well, I certainly hope it exists here. But I've never been to another world, so I can't really say if it exists there as well.

[ Jack can't help but grin at this man's attitude, quite a change from most people who arrived here angry. And while the winter teen is glad that he seems awfully genial about the whole experience thus far, he's still going to offer the welcoming committee's services, though he hopes someone of Iroh's age can hear and see him. ]

In person is always better, I think. If you need anything right away that you didn't find in your suite, you can ask and I'll see if I can find it around the city for you. Is pai sho a game?

[Iroh comes from a strongly animist world, and has interacted with a lot of spirits, so accepting a Spirit of Winter seems perfectly normal.]

Yes, a board game. I can't believe so many people haven't heard of it; it's very popular.

Maybe you can teach others how to play. If you draw what it's to look like, there are lots of skilled people here who can make you a board and pieces.

There's a good tea shop on the outskirts of Fire. I can give you the address if you want. Haven't seen anything like a pai sho board around here, but you could probably commission one from one of the kedan.
