(o1) video—
[This is Asami. This is Asami wrapped up like an enchilada in a thick, dark red blanket while she faces the screen. It's her first time with a recording like this—the technology is beyond even the movers Varrick produced—so she proceeds self-consciously.
That isn't to say she wasn't eager to try it out. The tape on the side of her console is indication of that, but it's out of sight of the viewer.]
Well, here I am. I've had some time to think about what I wanted to say, but to be honest I don't even know where to begin.
But we're all comrades here, right? So my name's Asami, and I'm a... [businesswoman? What kind of sales approach is that? She straightens her back.] I'm the chief executive officer of my family's company at home in Republic City. We're known for our automobiles and weaponry, and I have experience with each of our products. Not that I see myself getting comfortable here, but if I can make myself useful in a company running somewhere along those lines, then I think that would be a good place to start.
[She visibly deflates after the spiel, mustering a small smile.] So I guess I'll see you guys around! Go ahead and introduce yourselves if you have time. I think I could use some faces to call familiar.

It's tougher to contain herself at the mention of Aang and Toph, though. Feelings bordering on irritation melting for the moment, her eyebrows perk and she leans forward in her seat, though her voice is kept under control when she speaks.]
The Toph and Aang? That's amazing. I totally would've invited them over if I'd known they were here!

but Bolin definitely feels relieved when he hears Lin's name. he totally trusts her to keep things in line. though toph and aang's name throw him for a loop. he, unlike asami, can't keep himself under control at that bit of information coming out ]
Whoa, really?! It's not too late to invite them over! We can totally hang out and... wow two Team Avatars in the same place.

They don’t know everything about what happens in our time, their future, Bolin. In fact, there’re some things they’re still learning about, and it’s not easy for them. Like Toph finding out about Lin.
[She isn’t even about to start how she and Aang started off.]
So just try not to tell them too much about what happens to them. [It’s cold by now, but Korra gets a cup of tea in her hands and steam’s coming back out of it almost instantly.]
But yeah, [She smiles into her cup as she looks from Asami, to Bolin, to Mako.] Team Avatar’s all here.
[The part of her home she wanted back is finally here.]

He'd save the practical information for a little later. Asami could probably figure out everything she needed to know, with maybe some extra help on the job situation.
And he could take care of Bolin. That was something that he'd already factored in for himself, or had started doing the moment he found his brother]
The time thing gets a little weird, but yeah. More or less-- we're all here.
