It is generally easier to assume most people are until proven otherwise. It reduces the chances of this sort of unpleasant reveal.

Now standing outside of Julie's suite, Elizabeth can't even call out for her.]

[Julie pulls the door open and her first action before saying anything was hold out her arms. Hugs helped things, correct? And Elizabeth needed mountains of hugs, she'd imagine.]

C'mon in, sweetie.

[They can have tea and talk.]

[She wraps her arms around Julie, letting the unfamiliar comfort of a woman's touch calm her.]
