I knew I’d get this thing on eventually. All it it needed was a few swift kicks to help it along.

[Hawke looks rather smug with himself right now. Despite the crash course given to him, of which he may have zoned out of once or twice, he understands this console about as much as he does magic. The fact he got it working on his own means a lot to him.]

Alright, from what I hear this place is in need of heroes and the like. So much so in fact that they’ve started kidnapping people right off the street. Now I don’t mean to criticize your emperor, but that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Generally it’s considered good manners to ask someone for help instead of just grabbing them by their short and curlies and just dragging them off somewhere.

[He wags his finger in a very ‘you should be ashamed of yourself’ manner.]

Maker, at least people in Kirkwall gave me the illusion of choice before asking me to do something stupid and dangerous. They usually pay me too.

[When he sighs it’s utterly exaggerated.]

Oh well, no use in complaining I suppose.

[Of course that doesn’t mean he’s actually going to stop anytime soon.]

Since I’m here I may as well play along. Chances are this is all some kind of Fade...dream...thing, so what’s the worst that can happen? Besides the possibility of demonic possession.

I can honestly say it's one of things that I'm actually good at. People trying to kill you every day of the week makes for good practice.

[Pause.]

[There's another slight huff, and she's obscured in steam for a moment.]

[It's alright. He's still giddy that he's talking to an actual dragon.]

Only if they're followed by a long drop and sudden stop.

[There's something of twinkle in his eye when that happens.]

Fantastic. The last dragon that actually spoke to me turned out to be a nutty old woman in disguise.

[At least he's fairly certain she was.]

That shall not happen if you are properly harnessed in, or you are sensible enough to hold on.

[She approves, somewhat, so you're getting a vaguely pleased look, Hawke.]

[If she's suggesting what he thinks she's suggesting he's going to do a happy dance.]

I find holding on is always a sensible thing to do, but I am curious what I'm being harnessed to.

[Hawke can feel his grin growing wider.]

Clearly. Someone would have to be a fool to mistake you for anything else.

That depends on if you wish to go flying or not, I suppose.

[Hawke just sits there, trying not to vibrate with excitement.]

Would you excuse me for just a moment?

[Rising from his chair, he steps far enough away from the console to not be seen. Then he immediately dances about in a circle like an excited child. After only a few seconds of that he returns.]

That sounds like something that would be right up my alley.

[Time to play it cool again.]

[Hawke would likely get a very bemused look, had she seen all that. But she didn't, so she just curls her tail around herself a bit, twitching the tip.]

Oh! That is excellent, we are always looking for more crew. You would have to trade off between myself and Temeraire, but that is all right, I suppose.

[Oh this just keeps getting better. He tries not to look more excited then he already is. It fails.]

Yes I suppose I'm alright with that. The more the merrier.

Not of my type, I am the only Kazilik here. Temeraire is a Celestial dragon, he is Chinese.

[A little preen] I am far more impressive than he is. I can flame, after all, and he cannot.

[Hawke chuckles before grinning playfully.]

Really? Well I guess not all of us can be born to be amazing. Let's try not to hold it against those who are normal.

I suppose I must be gracious, in that case. [Too bad she doesn't sound all too happy about that.]

There is very little. [There's a restless tail-twitch. Someone has been getting very bored, lately.]

[Hawke's noticing this. While she's a great deal more intelligent than the dragons he's used to, a restless dragon never is good.]

Exactly, and if there's none here we really should start making our own.

[Then again, getting into trouble with a dragon probably isn't a great solution either but that's not going to stop Hawke.]

[Hawke will likely end up regretting this but right now he's way too excited.]

I am Iskierka, of the Royal Aerial Corps. [And she inclines her head somewhat gracefully. It took time, but she has mastered this whole camera and console thing]
