001 [Video - OTA]

[The feed clicks to life even as Aang is settling himself back down into the chair opposite the console. He's not a big kid to begin with, but there's something about his posture that makes him look even smaller than his usual scrawny self. Perhaps it's the overall lack of enthusiasm to his movements, or the fact that his eyes are red-rimmed, as if he'd recently stopped crying.
Either way, he doesn't look like happy camper.]

Hi. I'm Aang. I just...Toph was here a lot longer than I've been, and she knows way more people than I do. I'm sure I haven't even met a good number of you, which is why I'm using this to let you know that...she's not here anymore.

[He pauses, turning towards something off camera. Something that makes him smile in spite of his sadness. For those that'd recognize it, there's a slight background chittering of a flying lemur.]

Thanks for the reminder, Buddy.

[Aang looks back at the console.]

If there's something you might like to remember her by, let me know. Though...I should warn you, the stuffed badgermole has already been spoken for.

[Midii doesn't dare go with video on the open Network after the week she's had. Her voice even still comes in a bit shaky, something she tries to set aside in favor of sounding as sympathetic as possible.]

Sort of, it was frustrating at times, but I think we were getting through the bulk of it.

[Were. past tense. Already past tense.]

Toph? She...if I hadn't met her parents I wouldn't have been the slightest bit surprised if she just grew right up out of the earth itself. She's one of the toughest people I've ever met.

[ There's maybe five seconds of video feed of Zuko as he debates saying something to Aang, before deciding against it and the feed cuts off.

This probably isn't the right moment to try and reconnect with Aang, even if he'd like to say something right now. ]

[Using video doesn't feel right, not for this. After what happened in Kithika, Korra isn't about to not see someone she cares about in person if she cna help it.

Between Naga and the tug she feels when near Aang, Korra finds his suite easily and knocks on the door.]

[The door opens, but...it's not Aang who opens it. It's Momo. Not far from the lemur is Toph's stuffed badgermole. Momo chitters at her before turning back to pick up his new "friend" and return to the couch where Aang is seated.]

Hi.

[Korra's still worn down from Kithika and it shows. But she makes her way over to sit down on the couch, next to Aang where the internal resonance is strongest.]

Hey. [She looks from the stuffed badgermole down to Aang. He did seem smaller.] I'm going to miss her too.

[Toph was Korra's first close friend from their world and she knows that's only a fraction of the friendship she and Aang shared. It's exactly why she reaches to pull him into a hug.]

I am sorry for your present loss. Are you in need of anything, at the moment?

Aside from earthbending teacher. My world does not have these particular talents, so I would be rather useless in attempting to assist with that.
