We should talk. Think I may have actually found something useful for once.

Maker I hate this thing. Skul, Akito and I came across something of interest. Did you go into that library?
[End encryptions]
Let's keep this simple so I don't have to play with this thing much longer. Who here visited the library on the island?
[He pauses for a moment.]
And someone tell Evandau to clear his schedule. I need to talk to him.

Does that really matter?
[Hawke don't get derailed here.]
Did you find anything there?
Yes. And I found some stories about the Great Turtle swimming the 'line of light and life'. Why?
Because it seems like we've all come out of there with an extra bit of information. Can't see how keeping it ourselves will be of any help.
Re: [Video]
[He gave a shrug.]
What did you learn there?
[Any info is good info at this point.]
Nothing I'm willing to say over these things.
[At least he's honest.]
Then why didn't you say that when you were asking about it?

[Wood Sector.]
action?
He doesn't even bother asking for directions. Hawke knows this city backwards and forwards by this point. When he arrives at Wan's building he gives the door a few solid knocks.]
Knock knock. Hope you've got some tea set out.
Action
I don't, but I can make some. My room is this way.
[He didn't explain the rush to get back to his room, but if Hawke was mostly aimable to following at a decent speed, he'd be greeted with the sight of a small flock of birds and rodents hogging the majority of the space in Wan's room. Which was actually clean and not covered in droppings like Hawke had joked about it being. The animals were pretty good about not doing that. On Wan's bed, there was a catdeer curled up and eyeing them lazily.
The room itself was much cooler than outside. In each corner of the ceiling hung a block of ice and the air was circulating in a very unnatural manner. Wan knew how to keep himself cool.
He headed over to his teapot and started pouring water into it.]
Do you have a favorite kind?
Re: Action
He finds himself taken aback by the animals in Wan's room. Their conversation in the woods had been forgotten until now. As he follows Wan he watches his feet to make sure he doesn't accidentally step on one of the tiny creatures.]
It feels like I just stepped into a barn...
[Then he spies the creature on Wan's bed and stares blankly at it. Did he step back into the dreaming without knowing?]
I'm glad Notch isn't here, or Anders for that matter. They'd have a fit at the sight of that thing.
Re: Action
Her name is Mula. She's a catdeer.
[Mula gave a soft grumbling 'mrrw' at the sound of her name, but didn't move. She was pretty comfortable.
The teapot filled with water, and no answer coming about Hawke having a favorite, Wan decided to just add some basic green tea leaves to the pot. Then he pressed his hand to the side and started to heat it up.]
Go ahead and sit anywhere except the bed. The animals will move for you. They're friendly.
Re: Action
Mula then. So, just no simple cats where you're from?
[The whole concept of these hybrids confuses. Better to just not think about it. Things will probably be simpler that way.
After picking a spot to sit (he still double checks for an animal despite Wan's reassurance) Hawke watches Wan. Heating the pot without a flame? His control over magic must be incredible, which worries Hawke even more honestly. Is that Wan's doing or a spirit? But that's not the point of this visit.]
So a friend and I have discovered where the squatter in the palace is from, and that the people in this city may not be as trustworthy as we think.
Action
The animals in the room gave Hawke a wide berth. They were wild and though they trusted Wan, they didn't know Hawke. So the Ferelden had a nice big open circle of empty space around him while the birds and rodents re-settled themselves.]
How so? What exactly did you find?
Action
It sounds like he's been in this city just as long or longer than any of us, watching people and even making 'friends'. We could have met him a few times and never known it.
[He expects that's why Mally is so quiet in the palace. It might not even be in there right now.]
He was created on or by the Vilii, not entirely sure yet if that's a place or a people. Either way, he killed the people that made him and started his career as some dark god wanna be. Turns out though, there's a stone linked to the ritual that made him, and I'll just bet we can use that to kill him too.
Action
Do you know where the stone is?
[Wan poured them both a cup of tea and then approached to hand Hawke one. It was still hot, but it was perfectly brewed.]
And how would we use it to kill the Great Darkness? Destroy it? Imprison him in it?
Action
[Hawke takes the tea and sniffs it. It looks like no other tea he's had before.]
I don't know about you but I'll take whatever chance we get to kill the hell out of that thing.
Action
As long as killing it doesn't upset the balance of this world, then I have no problem with doing so. But if the Great Darkness is a needed part of the balance, I'd prefer to imprison it so the rest of the world doesn't suffer further imbalance.
Action
I can't think of a reason why any world would need a monster specifically created to kill people. Everyone could do without something like that.
[Carefully he takes a sip of the tea, tasting it carefully. He smacks his lips together a few times before shrugging and drinking more.]

Or that's just something it wants people to believe. That thing is smart and been around for a long time. Chances are it would do anything to make sure nothing will kill it.
[His mind is already set. If he gets the chance, he's killing this thing.]
The information we got says the only reason it was created was to kill people. I'm going to trust my sources on this one.
no subject
If that's all it was created for, and you trust that this is true, I will trust your belief. Unless we are given evidence otherwise. But at this point, I don't think acting against the Great Darkness would be considered rushing into it. Not if it's been around as long as I've been led to believe.
no subject
[Right, luck, because he's had so much of that in the past.]

[He takes another sip of the tea. Hmm, maybe if they stirred some alcohol in there...]
We just have to start sticking our noses where they don't belong.
