Let me take a guess at how many people you get freaking out on a regular basis. Don't get me wrong, this whole thing is, uh... bullshit, but given we apparently can't do anything about it — do you still get a lot of whiners? Maybe I'm not being fair. Maybe everyone is reasonable about all this.

All of that said, my name is Junior. Well, no it isn't, but I go by that. My name is Will Vega. I guess I'm looking for a job now. Anyone know of anywhere looking for a baker?

No. They're food. Amazing food. You can do a lot with it.

[She has that frown again, like someone just tried to explain complex astro-physics and she's trying to wrap her head around a particularly difficult formula.]

Getting used to this place IS probably something to fear, I must admit. I worry for our collective sanity at times, after this place, I DO admit.

There IS a script of sorts but I don't HAVE to stick to it, mind. Especially if you have any particular questions or want to find something in particular.

I suppose people from worlds that have a fair bit of its own insanity, or, who, for whatever reason, have to get used to it because they've been handed weirdness they've no choice but to accept? It varies, of course, but those seem tio be common.

[As far as jobs go, a few things come to mind.]

I think that would depend on things you like to do, or are good at. Some of the kedan have businesses but you're likely better off at somewhere run by Foreigners.

I'm a baker by trade, so that's where I'd like to keep working. Had my own place back home, but I know that's not happening here. At least... for a while. [ Which he doesn't want to think about. ] And I bet there's always menial work looking to be done, too.

I don't know what bakeries are like in your world, but they're actually very similar to the ones I remember from home. As long as you're willing to learn their recipes, it shouldn't be a problem.

It mostly depends on the person. Some get accustomed more easily than others, but...most get accustomed, in the end. And as long as you're willing to learn, the Kedan tend to permit small mistakes.
