[Presented evidence was enough to leave her rightfully suspicious. She could not recall an instance where someone was in possession of two soul gems. And not all the illnesses were the same, nor could they be explained by the loss of a soul gem exclusively.]

I've been through this myself. She's explaining it the exact same way, and she has no soul gem in the way Foreigners usually do.

According to my database, depending upon her species, there are other possibilities for such symptoms. Ranging from viral infection to bacterial to infestation to pregnancy to even...I believe the phrase is food poisoning, although it is my understanding that poison is not necessarily involved.
