First Guitar Solo - Eddie Riggs [Video]
I'd ask if this was some kind of weird dream, but, kinda doubt that since my dreams don't get this fuckin' elaborate. Alongside the fact it isn't the first time I woke up some place different after dyin'. Is this gonna be a fuckin' trend in my life or what? What next, a land made of ice cream or some shit?
But, yeah, [He rubs the back of his neck thoughtfully. His expression serious before he summons a smile.] kinda not the point of this post, I'm wondering if anyone can give me an actual fuckin' rundown on this place? I got some shit from those- weird guys who picked me up, but, I dunno what to believe and what not to believe.
Far as I know now, havin' runnin' water is fuckin' fantastic, holy shit. Electricity- I didn't know how much I missed this shit until I woke up here. [He laughs easily at the thought.]
I'm Eddie by the way, s'nice to meet whoever replies to this weird fuckin' thing.

Somebody stick that on top of a giant turtle.

Best land for awhile, minus you know, the ice cream meltin', cause eventually it'll melt. Then everythin' would get really fuckin' sticky.

What if the land is up north? You know, like with the polar bears and penguins?

with the discovery that her powers trickle away like water on the mainland, she's given up finding anything of note in order to keep her plans going while everyone else is busy exploring. there's some progress, but it's limited. she's not happy with it.
and now. this. she recognizes that voice. she'd recognize it a hundred thousand miles away, under the ocean. it makes her hands curl into fists and her blackened heart swell with rage.
she manages to keep herself mostly calm when she snaps on the return video. but the anger is visible in the tension of her shoulders and in her eyes. she is furious.]
Oh, it can't be nice to meet everyone who replies.

[Said in his most melodramatic, booming voice possible. Like he's trying to channel Mysterio, just without the attitude.]
It's a downhill ride, but you'll figure that out on your own. Also, how familiar are you with the concept of "swear jars"?
I don't do swear jars, kid. [Because he'd be poor considering his vocab consists of words you can only say in a M rated game as freely as he does.]

[GRUMBLE GRUMBLE]
But yep, extra-dimensional turtle with a city on its back. Apparently, not everyone here is from the same reality. Heck, some people even started running into doppelgangers from other universes.
Oh and uh, don't expect to get many answers out of the locals. Anytime you ask 'em anything too specific, they just say "that's the emperor's business" and clam up. Kinda frustrating.

I'd be willing to show you around if you wanted- what sector are you going to live in?
Actually- have you been told about the sectors already, Eddie?

Kinda sorta, I wouldn't mind a run down to be sure of things.

If you have questions, it helps to ask specifics. Is there something absolutely pressing you'd like to know?

How is this a land between death, dreams and life? Why are the locals terrible at helpin' out? Why are we here is also kinda big one.
video
To your first question, I think the answer is a bit up in the air still. The locals defer everything to the Emperor, as I'm sure you've become aware. Some of them are more informative than others, if you can find the right kind of chatty folk.
As for why we're here, word through the grapevine is the Emperor summoned us to save the kedan from some kind of threat. But the actual reason has yet to be properly revealed.

But it's more than that. Asami only has to listen to the first few messages to know that this is the person who betrayed her, and... she actually doesn't know how to feel about that.]
I...
[No. She wants to talk to Ophelia first.]
Welcome to Keeliai.
[But her tone is a little cold.]
video;
Thank you.
video;
No, no, I'm fine.
[She takes a breath and manages a slight smile.]
My name's Asami, Asami Sato.

You know why we've been dragged here? Why they aren't exactly tellin' us everythin'? I wouldn't mind more perspectives on those questions. Shit is kind of muddled around here.

I'm sure everyone's told you the gist of it by now. But I'd also advise you to be wary of interacting with the kedan - the native residents here - if no one has said anything about them already.
no subject
Yeah, I've gotten a good grasp on some stuff round here. Probably gonna go pokin' round on my own for extra info. How wary should I be? Like, have my battle axe on hand or just listen with a grain of salt?
