(His new ring will be immediately visible, the color swirling ominously - here, a shade of emerald green and there, inky black. It never settles; never stills. The silver too is cold - almost antiquated in design - and it wraps around a pale, slender finger that does not look wholly human.)
I wonder what spell was used to create such exquisite technology? (There is something pleasing about his voice - the way he pitches it perhaps. His tone invites others to listen.) I am uncomfortable showing my face, so you must settle for my voice, I'm afraid.
(He has taken certain precautions - raising his hood for one and tilting the feed so that only his chest can be seen.)
My world isn't terribly different from this one. We have great dragons, yet your turtle would dwarf them all!
(A shift in tone - this one hinting at amusement.)
I can only respect a power that was able to take me from my world and show me another. Yet I was...busy...you see. Terribly busy. What will become of my work?
I am more than happy to lend my aid - (Here, his voice hardens the slightest bit for a listener with keen ears.) However isn't it kinder to ask first?
(No, no, don't ignore the way your stomach dropped. That is a chilling amount of anger behind those friendly words.)

Many of us were busy at the time we were taken. It is regrettable, but this place is not without power and knowledge to be gained. As others before you, you might yet find it worthwhile, unwelcome as the kidnapping is.

Hi, Emperor.)I wonder what I have to learn about such a place? Magic has taught me much; it is difficult for me to imagine this land compensating me for my...absence.

[ Arrogance. Not without reason, he would hope, but beyond anger Kylo has yet to see anything impressive. And anger isn't power unless you know to use the Dark Side. ]
Did you not listen in the welcome center? There are people from many different worlds here... and each of them has its own magic, with its own strengths and weaknesses. There is more to learn than anybody could learn in a lifetime, though you are in many cases confined to theoretical knowledge.

I listened. (And?) Unless I can take their powers from them and add them to my own, it is a waste of my time.
(However...) I hear the government is...unstable. I could help.

Their government is currently regaining stability. [ His voice has gotten tighter now, curter. The First Order had that idea first, thank you very much. ]

Oh no, that's cute, Kylo Ren.) I do not mean to boast, but I am likely one of the most blessed amongst the populace where Magic is concerned.

You may be powerful, but you don't have the power to force our hosts to send you back any more than the rest of us does. [ And yet for all his brave words he is wary. His own Master has taught him how volatile the most powerful Dark siders are. ]

We shall see about that too. (It's a puzzle and he has the patience to work it.)
