(His new ring will be immediately visible, the color swirling ominously - here, a shade of emerald green and there, inky black. It never settles; never stills. The silver too is cold - almost antiquated in design - and it wraps around a pale, slender finger that does not look wholly human.)
I wonder what spell was used to create such exquisite technology? (There is something pleasing about his voice - the way he pitches it perhaps. His tone invites others to listen.) I am uncomfortable showing my face, so you must settle for my voice, I'm afraid.
(He has taken certain precautions - raising his hood for one and tilting the feed so that only his chest can be seen.)
My world isn't terribly different from this one. We have great dragons, yet your turtle would dwarf them all!
(A shift in tone - this one hinting at amusement.)
I can only respect a power that was able to take me from my world and show me another. Yet I was...busy...you see. Terribly busy. What will become of my work?
I am more than happy to lend my aid - (Here, his voice hardens the slightest bit for a listener with keen ears.) However isn't it kinder to ask first?
(No, no, don't ignore the way your stomach dropped. That is a chilling amount of anger behind those friendly words.)

He'll be keeping an eye on you, mystery man.]
Very well - they don't usually bother us Foreigners unless we're new. I don't believe I caught your name, Mr...?

Lord Voldemort.
video;
I see. Lord Voldemort. [Your title doesn't impress him. Then again, Gene's title probably wouldn't impress him. They appear to be at an impasse.] Though you'll find people here aren't big on formality. You may have to get used to dropping the honorific.
video;
I will show them why it is a necessity. (Drop the honorific and he will show his irritation.)

[He doesn't even sound sarcastic. He'll just sit here with popcorn. This is going to be amazing. He loves watching the turtle break the haughty. Especially considering that he was one of those haughty souls, once upon a time.]

I do not need it.

And are you experienced with infiltration?

Sounds like you've been busy.

I do not believe in staying idle for any reason.
(Even as a ghost, he was working, planning.)

I take it you're not a fan of the approach that the greatest victory's the battle not fought, then.
video;
That should be written on the banners of cowards.

Many people have that opinion, that it's better to act than to hang back and wait.
