(His new ring will be immediately visible, the color swirling ominously - here, a shade of emerald green and there, inky black. It never settles; never stills. The silver too is cold - almost antiquated in design - and it wraps around a pale, slender finger that does not look wholly human.)
I wonder what spell was used to create such exquisite technology? (There is something pleasing about his voice - the way he pitches it perhaps. His tone invites others to listen.) I am uncomfortable showing my face, so you must settle for my voice, I'm afraid.
(He has taken certain precautions - raising his hood for one and tilting the feed so that only his chest can be seen.)
My world isn't terribly different from this one. We have great dragons, yet your turtle would dwarf them all!
(A shift in tone - this one hinting at amusement.)
I can only respect a power that was able to take me from my world and show me another. Yet I was...busy...you see. Terribly busy. What will become of my work?
I am more than happy to lend my aid - (Here, his voice hardens the slightest bit for a listener with keen ears.) However isn't it kinder to ask first?
(No, no, don't ignore the way your stomach dropped. That is a chilling amount of anger behind those friendly words.)

(Only to be rejected by Dumbledore.)
Text
[Poe here is wondering what 'share the knowledge' actually might entail.]
In the universe I come from there's also a powerful energy that affect all living them but we don't call it magic.
[Rude, Dumbledore. This is how psychopathic overlords are born.)
Text
(Which is why the Defense Against the Dark Arts position was cursed. That was Voldemort's "f u" to Dumbledore as he left the castle.)
Text
The Force. All living beings are connected to it but only very few are truly gifted. Blood seems to be a factor too, though, because it's a power that can be carried on from parents to their offsprings.
[All those years Snape was lucky to avoid getting the job, he just couldn't see that.]
Text
It sounds similar.
(Exactly. Dumbledore had an idea about the curse too. Better to have an angry Potion's Master than lose him altogether.)
Text
It's important not to let that sort abilities go to waste. Four Houses...what determines which one you end being part of?
Force users undergo training as well but the methods differ from master to student.
[A much better option indeed.]
Text
With differing techniques, it must be difficult for a student to learn.
Text
There are some general guidelines but no two Force users are the same. Their personality and uprising might determine a tendency to lean against a light, neutral or more darker side of the Force.
Text
Tell me, are there strong Force users present? (A meet and greet needs to happen.)
I suspect the Darker side is...avoided? Abhorred?
Text
There might be. [No point in hiding it. Knowing Kylo, he might like to have a brunch with this man.]
The Darker side it's inevitable, you can't have light without darkness, but it's not exactly popular. Killing innocents is usually frowned upon, you see.
Text
I would like to meet them. Can you give me their names? (Come on, play along~)
Innocents? Are they truly innocent?
Text
And ruin the mystery? That would be boring. [Sorry but rather not encourage Kylo further down a darker path or put Rey at risk.]
What makes you think they're not?
Text
(It's only a matter of time.)
I do not believe anyone is utterly innocent. We have made mistakes - sinned.
Text
[Poe is more amused than anything at the display of dramatics.]
Maybe you haven't meet the right people.
Text
(He has a flair for the dramatic. Unsurprising, really, considering his past, his position and his power.)
I have met many and my opinion remains unchanged.
Text
[It makes life more entertaining, in a sense.]
What about children?
