So it looks like I'm going to need to get a job pretty soon. [Danny makes a face at the idea. His only job experience was the time he subbed for Val as the mascot at the local fast food place. It was miserable. ]

Anyone got any ideas? I'm kind of stumped.

[The only job he actually had experience with was ghost-fighting. But he was almost certain that half-ghost part-time ghost-fighting vigilante didn't belong on any resume ever.]

Well, they're not allowed in the kitchen! There haven't been any health inspector complaints...at least, not before we got here. And we only just got our first cat back.

Yeah, I'm on the way over to check it out now. It really doesn't sound too bad. I mean, as far as a place to work goes.

...Okay one cat... who doesn't actually move a whole lot, but it's a start.

I wouldn't know. I've never really sent any time around cats. No pets allowed at home, you know?

But Mochi is pretty friendly. He's a good starter cat.

Not really. [Lies. He did have some, although it was mostly emergency first aid that his sister had made him learn. Just in case he got hurt and needed to take care of things himself to get home.

But he wasn't sure how much he knew of what to do for himself actually applied to normal humans.]

But I think I'm going to be set anyway. I'm going to go check out a job at the cat cafe.

I don't really know anything about them, but I figure there should be something I can do. Even with my non-existent job skills.

There's always courier work. I don't know what kinda postal service they're running in this place, but there's always need for people to run packages and stuff. That's what I'm doing, anyway. When I'm not at the Golden Koi slinging drinks, that is.

I guess that's an option. Someone just mentioned there was a job at the Cat Cafe, so I guess I'll check out there first.
