I'm going to need someone to explain the metrics of this place without mentioning the giant turtle. Before you ask; yes, I have seen it. Though seeing it does little to convince me of its authenticity. I'd never get very far if I took everything at face value.
That being said, Discussions on Science and verifiable facts only. if you intend to talk magic don't bother responding. Your input isn't needed.

And would you mind if I occasionally used it to perform experiments? It's necessary for my work.

hey, buddy, get your own lab.
but maybe you can use it until then. sometimes. depends on what kind of experiments. what's the work you're doing?

also how old are you? and what percentage arthropod would you say you are? just curious.
[...Really, those are relevant questions, he swears.]
no subject
In answer to your questions, I'm thirty-seven and reasonably certain no percentage of me is part arthopod. Last I checked, I would defintely by classified as a vertebrate.

and that's a yes on the chemistry, no on the corpses. [Um?? Gross?? What the hell?] it's an engineering lab, remember?
if you're dealing with corpses you should be working with the police force anyway. talk to Valdis or Pepper Potts about that.

[ Valdis and Pepper Potts. He stores the names away for later use. ]
Would you happen to have the address of the police station? If I intend to continue my career as a consulting detective then It might be precedent to introduce myself to the local law enforcement.

[He also attaches the address of the police headquarters, and Pepper and Valdis' handset codes. And hopes really hard that that will keep Dr. Frankenstein here from showing up at his doorstep with random cadavers.]

a few of the foreigners auto-revive anyway, but that's an innate ability, not a Keeliai thing.

A few? It isn't everyone?

seriously though, get in touch with the police force. foreigners don't stay dead, but everyone else does. it's a big city. murders and accidents happen.
there's a kid around here who does detective work too, you should talk to him. maybe you can work together. you'd be like a quirky buddy cop duo. [A misanthrope and a precocious elementary schooler solve crimes together? It's the perfect set-up for a TV show!]

his name's Conan. [He sends another handset ID code.] I don't think you'll have to do much babysitting. he's a really smart kid.
your feelings aren't going to get hurt if he's better at detectiving that you, are they?
no subject
Why would that hurt my feelings? I'd say that, if on the off-chance he is a better detective than I am, that is a trait to be nurtured. God knows the world could use more of us that are actually good at our job.
I'm Sherlock by the way, Sherlock Holmes.
