[TEXT]
[Donatello decides to stick with text, because he doesn't entirely trust himself not to give away his barely restrained panic right now if he tries anything else.]
So forgive me if this is a stupid question, but is there anywhere I can find a map or something?
...Or even a help center for the unfortunately half-drowned? Travel agency? A Guide to the City, perhaps? The welcoming committee was helpful, but not that helpful.
Thank you.
[He's pretty sure if there is a place to collect information - and they sure made it sound like this happened often, so he'd surprised if there wasn't - he could slip in and steal their pamphlets or...whatever it was they had, without too much trouble. Still. If there's an easier method, he'd prefer it. He didn't want to go venturing out into the open half-cocked and alone.]
[Speaking of...he'd given up audio, so he'd also given up the chance of one of his brothers recognizing his voice. He'd have to think of something-]
[Ah.]
And if there's a place that sells pizza, I could really go for that right now.
[Not perfect, but it would have to do.]

[ACTION]
[No matter what happens during the day, once it hits the darkest hours of the next morning Donatello is going to brave heading up to the roof of his building {ME-2A} in the Metal Sector and start poking around the area. He'll be sticking very close to home and keeping it quiet, but if your character might have the skills and inclination to notice an extremely nervous ninja turtle, then by all means!]
[He'll be distracted by the different constellations in the sky and occasionally be stooping to investigate the material the buildings are made of. He'll keep reaching up to check that his staff is still there. Don't get too close or he will probably try to smack you with it.]

You mean you saw it? But that's-
Auuugh. [He scrubs his head violently with his hands. He hates this entire everything.] Why can't anything ever be simple? What happened to people just shooting at us?

It's amazing you survived a week alone.

[UGH. Geez.]
Please tell me you didn't alienate the entire population of this city.
no subject
[He didn't alienate the entire population of the city, only half his Sector. And a few more out of his Sector. Just a few.]
no subject
[Wait]
How many people have you fought with? [You didn't answer him, Raph. Did you actually alienate the entire city, okay, no, he wasn't actually serious.]
no subject
What are you, my mother? Get off my case, Donnie.
no subject
[What did you do?]

[unless...]
Wait, it was just you being...you, right? It wasn't the Foot or- or the Kraang?
no subject
...WHY DO YOU CARE AGAIN. It's none of your business.]
no subject
[or is there anyone after you that Don needs to watch out for because that would not be cool]
Why do you think, Raph?
no subject
Well unless that someone is freakin' color blind or a complete idiot like someone else I know, nobody's gonna just up and attack you thinking you're me!
no subject

[Not telling Donnie about getting completely owned by Other!Raph. Not gonna tell him about Other!Leo either.]
GOD! You act like I'm a psychopath!
no subject
That wasn't what I-
[it kind of was, Don]
I didn't mean- All right, look. You can't tell me there wasn't a single person who didn't freak out at a giant mutant turtle, or- or something, and that you didn't do anything about it. You don't have to tell me what happened, just names or what they looked like.
[he pinches the bridge of his beak like he just can't deal with this anymore, but that really isn't Raph's fault, is it? He was supposed to be the reasonable one, and here he was acting like Raph and trying to pick a fight. With Raph. Ugh.]
I just need to know, okay? Please.
no subject
[...wait]
Except for maybe one guy, but it's NOT my fault. He looks like a Ken doll or something, hates anything not human. Name's Dan our something else stupid. I took care of him already, but if he gives you trouble then we'll handle him. He's pathetic in a fight anyway.
no subject
Got it.
So...we're on a turtle. In another dimension. Alone. [sigh] Anything else?
no subject
We apparently gotta get jobs if we wanna eat.
[Raph looked. Foraging would be an adventure for sure here. They could always steal their food, wouldn't be the first time.]
no subject
What have you been doin-
[WAIT]
Hold on. What kind of food do they have here? The kedan obviously have some physiological differences from us, and if we're on a turtle then there are obviously some further discrepancies between our fauna and theirs-
[stop him raph]
no subject
There's normal food here. It's fine.
no subject
Oh. Well, how have you been getting it? I know I got some kind of currency from them - those juulan? [Though the image of Raph just walking up and buying something is really weird. The idea of having money at all is weird.]
You haven't tried collecting algae have you? Because that might be a bad idea until we know more about this place.
