Superman here. I'm aware the rationing is the hot topic nowadays but there isn't... much I can do about that. I will do my best to help out Roger's food bank and if anyone needs me to do so don't hesitate to contact me but for now you will have to forgive me for deviating from the topic.

This last month I have noticed a lot of foreigners that happened to have powers with them that were... not sure what to do with them at best, outright scared of them at worse. I want to help with that.

I am a super-powered being myself, we are called 'metahumans' in my world. I was thinking maybe there should be some kind of... way for us to meet, to talk about our problems. To train each other if our powers are similar, to help us out when it's needed. I'm not sure where I was going with this but that... well, that was my suggestion.

I think an organized group of super-powered beings is bad fuckin' news to the rest of us who aren't.

Why? It's not like we're going to suddenly gang up on you. And said superpowered beings having a bigger control over their powers should be good news for everyone.

A hierarchy doesn't cause crime either, but organized crime is sure as hell a lot fuckin' harder to eradicate or to deal with than those same guys on the street.

Now, maybe it's because I haven't talked to many of you, sure. But I think you're a fuckin' threat to those of us without powers and I don't want to die.

How are we a threat unless we actively threaten you? Most of us are here to help out, I don't think it's fair to judge all of us based on some kind of prejudice.

Prove me wrong then. Talk to me like a normal person. No mask bullshit, no code names. Tell me why you do it, what makes you think you're better than the government, and why I shouldn't feel threatened by people who feel like its in their right to decide what's good for weaker people?

Why on Earth should I have to give you explanations on what I do or prove myself? I do what I do because I want to help people out. I wear no mask, and I give my birth-name to anyone who asks it.

I'm Kal-El, of Krypton and I am not ashamed of my powers. If you have a problem with meta-humans then I'm sorry to hear it, but we have as much right to meet each other and train as any other.

I am not going to train a military. I'm simply teaching people how to use an ability that might cause trouble if untrained. But again I say I have nothing to prove to you or anybody.

If you have any questions though, go ahead and I will answer.

If it's really just about training, why don't you offer to teach people instead of suggesting a fucking meet up?

Because I can't train them all, I don't have the powers or abilities some would need. So offering them to talk it out and a chance to find the adequate teacher was the next best thing.

Why are you training them? What's in it for you?

Helping people out, isn't that enough? Or- I guess 'avoiding more damage to the turtle if I do manage to train them' would be something to get out of it.

One more thing. What if they can already control their powers? Will you still teach them to get better?

I'm not 'teaching' anyone per se, I'm just helping people out. So yes, as long as they want my help I would.
