[Kal-El seems to be posting from a cafe in the water sector, judging by his surroundings. A cafe that has seen better days. Kal's face makes it obvious he wasn't expecting the cafe to be in such a state when he got there, seeing all this go on without being able to help is really hitting him hard.]

Superman here. I'm aware the rationing is the hot topic nowadays but there isn't... much I can do about that. I will do my best to help out Roger's food bank and if anyone needs me to do so don't hesitate to contact me but for now you will have to forgive me for deviating from the topic.

This last month I have noticed a lot of foreigners that happened to have powers with them that were... not sure what to do with them at best, outright scared of them at worse. I want to help with that.

I am a super-powered being myself, we are called 'metahumans' in my world. I was thinking maybe there should be some kind of... way for us to meet, to talk about our problems. To train each other if our powers are similar, to help us out when it's needed. I'm not sure where I was going with this but that... well, that was my suggestion.

[A little shrug and a smile] I would like to hear people's opinion in it?

[A little laugh] In a way it is, except we have nothing to be ashamed of.

Depends on who you're talking to. [That's a lingering sentiment from back home.]

There any catch to the idea? Like, we aren't signing up for crisis response or anything? [Because she's already got two teams on the happen here.]

[She would have seen Kal blinking in surprise if they were using video.] It's not- why does everyone assume I'm training some kind of army?

I just want to help out people who are afraid of their powers, or need some training. [He mostly sound amused.]

[There's a pause. Ororo's sitting back in her chair, for the record, with her arms crossed.]

That's the way it's always been. People never group us unless it's for some purpose. Otherwise they freak out because too many people with powers in one place is like some terrible thing to them.

[She knows it doesn't exactly make sense, but that's how things are back home and that expectation of the same's a hard habit to break.]

[Kal makes a face. Even though the metas were more accepted in his world better than Ororo's most of the time there had been times when they weren't. People who still didn't accept them. So he knows what she's saying is true.]

We can't let opinions like that stop us. All we can do is prove them they are wrong.

So, what. We sit around and play chess? Because the minute we do anything with powers -- [The very thing that defines them.] -- someone's going to bitch about it.

[In short, Ororo wants to know how he plans to prove them wrong.]

No, we do whatever we can to help out. We disregard their opinion, disregard if they hate us for saving their life just because we used our powers to do it.

We do the right thing, and with time they will grow to accept us.

[There's a long, frustrated silence, then a blown out breath of air.]

You and the professor, man. It's like you went to the same school.

Oh. [A pause as he processes it.]

Is that supposed to be an insult or a complement? I don't know said professor so I can't really tell.
