Hey, so, I can timetravel. [Yup just slamming that out there] And even though it's gone super weird here and I can't touch anything when I got back, or even have anyone notice me, it's still good for overhearing things. [A beat] Which, um, I haven't done to anyone here. So you know.

But I was thinking, there has to be some point in the past where things related to us were discussed, right? And if no one can see or hear us...well, we might be able to find out something interesting. Or important.

[She sucks in a breath, straightening] But I don't want to keep this to myself. So I'm asking for volunteers who don't mind stepping into a tunnel between space and time and exploring history. Vanessa'll tell you that it smells like cabbage, but she's kind of finicky. It's totally safe, and it doesn't smell bad at all, I promise. [yes it does] I think I'll be able to take four people back? My only real thing is that, if you come, you have to share what you find. It's not fair, otherwise.

[She gives a casual salute] Okay, Catty out! Just let me know if you're interested, okay?

I have no idea! [That's encouraging] --That is, I've never tested the outer limits of it, because I can just keep hopping back. I could go back five seconds or five centuries, probably.

[Despite Willow's rather light hearted, whimsical conversation with her earlier, now she's deadly serious, flipping to world saving mode at the drop of a hat.]

Count me in. I can take care of myself if something happens, and we need answers.

How dangerous is the time traveling part? [It's not deterring her, she just wants to know the risks.]

That's great! I mean, I want to see who else is interested, obviously, but I'll definitely put you on the list.

[She wrinkles her nose a little] So long as everyone stays connected, not very. The danger only happens if you let go, because then the portal stops working for you and-- [She holds her fist up and lets it drop, flattening against the desk] Lost in time. It'd be a hassle to try and find you again.

Time traveling has recently become my thing. Sort of like a weekly hobby. Like a book club but with more explosions and adventures.

Miss it loads so I'll toss my name into the hat but someone who's never been ought to go before me.

On the other hand, I could probably use someone who has some experience! Even if it doesn't work out that you can come this time, though, I'm still going to go back again. It's not like I have some kind of limit on how many times I can go back. [A pause] At least, not that I know about.

It's not really! So long as you hold on, it's totally safe. And I've taken people with powers through the tunnel before, it's never had any kind of effect on them. Good or bad.

You're going to let me go maybe hundreds of years in the past by myself with a bunch of people that, let's face it, I don't know very well?

[Catty smiles back, ducking her head a little.] The ethical line is protecting people. Finding out what we can about this place totally counts. [And lifting her head again] I'll let you know! I'm going to talk with everyone who's coming, see who fits best. But if you ever want to go back for some other reason, I'll take you. It's pretty much one of my favourite things to do.

Are you sure that you can't have anyone notice you, when you go back? As a whole group, I mean, I'm sure you can do it with one person, but a group is a lot tougher. And I can't even imagine what messing with the time stream here would be like for everyone still here.

A group isn't really any tougher than just me, really. The effort's with opening the portal, not with how many people are stepping through. So long as everyone stays connected, it'll be fine. [She gives him an easy smile] And I'm totally sure that no one'll notice. For some reason, I can't effect anything in the past here. I tried taking a donut home to test it and everything, and I couldn't even pick one up.

[There's a mournful sigh. She really wanted that donut]

You should be more supportive of the younger generation, how are we supposed to amount to anything if we don't have elders who believe in us? [The grin on her face says she's trolling] As for your second question, I guess you're going to have to go on faith.
