[The voice is as deadpanned as it sounds as the feed flicks properly onto video. Instead of the gangly, awkward boy the citizens were introduced to a few weeks back, there is a young girl peering into the communicator. Hiccup shifts awkwardly, crossing her arms over her chest in a bit of embarrassment.]

I don't have to wear a skirt or anything, do I? [She pauses to brush her hair away from her eyes.] Ah, but...could someone braid my hair? It's a bit ridiculous and I've never really...ever done it myself.

I don't know. Most of the girls in my village wear them in one or two braids, depending. My fri...Ruffnut has hers in three parts. [He couldn't really call the twins or any of that group his friends, considering how long he'd spent on the outside.] I'm not even sure what to do with it honestly.

Hmm...I guess. Braids are kind of traditional in my village, but I...haven't really killed my first dragon yet.

I know my grandfather used to make, um, a herbal tea for the women, but I don't...think I need that right now.

He covers his new chest with his arms even though it's clothed, a bit more endowed than he would have expected now that he's actually dared to look.]

The girls back home wrap theirs, but I'm guessing it's not like that here.

This is actually kind of normal for men in my tribe but I like keeping my hair short.
