[Hayley has already spent a few days cut off in her suite, subsisting on what food was already available and hadn't gone bad since her return from the palace. The blinds are closed, a chair is propped up under the door, and the girl has been walking around with the taser tucked into her back pocket - just in case.

Finally, having convinced herself that it's time to say something, she makes her way over to her console. Hayley doesn't really know what she's doing, but she knows she has to do something and this seems like a good place to start. Immediately after making the post, she moves to the window and throws it open with the sudden desperation to feel some small sense of safety.

Without really thinking, she calls out Superman's name. Then she steps back, crossing her arms tightly. In her red jacket and baggy pants, pale and with dark circles under her eyes, it's very clear that she's in terrible shape.]

[Thinking back, he probably shouldn't have been so surprised that Hayley had yelled out. The girl was strong in many ways, but getting killed always takes a toll on everyone. He'd know, he had been killed once.

He is still not really sure how he would deal with this whole thing- it's always hard when someone uses your abilities to do something like this. And whoever did it had slipped through his fingers because he had been too focused on an injured, suddenly depowered Lois. But he needs to a) investigate further and b) make sure everyone the mysterious figure killed is alright. And for both of those things, he needs to talk to Hayley.

He's quick to hover in front of her window, tilting his head in concern.]
