[Even though he had been shown how to use the console in his suite close to 5 times now, Kaine still finds himself fiddling with it when the feed turns on. There was a reason why, after buying him a laptop (with Kaine's money) and multiple attempts at teaching him how to use it, his friend Wally just accepted the 3 AM visits whenever Kaine needed to run a simple Google search. But the clone was desperate, and now here he is.

How desperate, you ask? Well, he's currently wearing an over-sized, tacky "I <3 NY" souvenir t-shirt and an expression that's a cross between a pout and a scowl.] Where can I buy a normal shirt? I'm down to this one and there's no way in hell I'm wearing it again. [A pause.] For the record, by "normal shirt" I mean a t-shirt or something along those lines. I'll take a jacket at this point too.

[He shifts in his seat, discomfort pouring out of him as he tugs at the hem of his comically large shirt. He hates asking for assistance, but he's been searching for something for a couple days now and keeps coming up empty.

His face turns to a scowl again when he adds:] And to the person who took my good shirt--you know who you are--I want it back. Take this one.

[He pauses after that, as there's something else he wants to say, but doesn't actually want to say it. The thought of asking it causes him to grit his teeth, and the beginning of it comes out like a growl.] I'm also looking for a job. Something like a bouncer or a bodyguard... [Glances down at something off camera.] I'm, uh, good with my hands, and not that it matters here but I'm fluent in four languages.

[With that, he's officially gone past his comfort zone and he attempts to quickly turn the damn thing off--key word being attempts. He lets out a slew of curses, and right before he finally manages to turn it off, he can be seen depositing some juulan into a large, clear container labeled "Swear Jar" already a quarter full just before the screen finally goes black.]

You're explaining how to use this thing. [He says as he finally pulls the mask on over his head.] That's also called contributing.

I figured it out via trial and error. Except the invisibility part--other you filled me in on that one.

It's also immune to sonics. [Which is how he wound up with that particular suit in the first place.]

That means you'll explain the invisibility part to me, right?

Sonics... sonics... Sonic waves? As in sound??

[Shrugs.] Works the same as the healing. Tell it to go invisible.

Yeah. With that setting on though you can't hear a thing, so I never use it.

... Just in my head?

[And cue Peter thinking aloud.] Invisibility... Immune to sonics. Sound waves. Sound waves? Sound waves... That is so interesting...

[Meanwhile, Peter's head is going invisible. Now there's an odd thing to see.]

I don't know! I got the two second tour of "stealth suit: here is how to change modes."

[He reaches up to remove the mask again, turning it visible again in the process.] Hmm... This is gonna take some figuring...

Yeah, lucky me. [If it was up to him, he wouldn't have been there in the first place. Then again, if he wasn't there, he'd still have red eyes, claws, and be dying of clone degeneration, so really in the scheme of things it was a win...]

Just don't ruin it--I have no idea how to actually fix it.

My new goal is to figure out how to fix it if worse comes to worst, then.

[Yeah well you'd ruin this relationship by ruining his suit. And he's still not sure why he's so attached to the damn thing.]

[And then he's holding the mask up over his head again, up to the light, examining it carefully.]

Which means-- I'm totally gonna figure this out.

I may have died 4 times, but this is the first time I can remember it this clearly. [That's a lie. He can still remember every word said between him and the Other, but he doesn't want to.] I'm not the afterlife expert.

[Oh, right. He'd nearly forgotten about that 4 Death Count.] Well, I'm sure we'll get that all worked out somehow. ..Somehow.

[Just shrugs. He doesn't see the fun in science.]

[And then Peter's silent for just a moment... Before he starts murmuring science to himself, utterly fascinated by the mask.... And then he frowns abruptly.]

This... This wasn't made chemically, right?

[Glares. What did he just tell you?] I. don't. know.

[Okay. Fine. He'll start simpler.]

How long've you had this suit?

[He lets out a small breath, but the tension in his shoulders doesn't completely vanish.]

And yet it can translate your brain waves into actions. Repairing itself-- Can it protect you from like, bullets?
