[Clark has hardly used the network to make posts as Clark lately, not since he got the radio started... but it wasn't really that he was avoiding it, not really. Investigating about the murders, then the disappearances had simply taken most of his free time, and he hadn't had much to say.

When he turns on the feed he's playing around with what looks like a calligraphy brush between his fingers, tapping the shaft against a very basic notebook.]

The new arrivals made me think of something. [And judging by the notebook, he's trying to make sense of it by himself. Those who actually know him know how fast his brain actually is... but he's always had the Kryptonian technology to back him down, and now he finds it missing.]

We're assigned living space when we get here, right? And we don't really choose it, we're simply given directions to it when we arrive. And we know there are 5 districts, and different kind of suites on each. Some of them are obvious [Hi, Arthur, of course you live in Water] but others aren't. I live in Water, while my wife was given a suite in the Earth sector.

[She didn't spend a single day there but that's beyond the point. You might actually see her on the background, she likes doing that.] And I thought maybe there could be some kind of pattern, something in the way the Kedan organize us in each district and place. It might not be relevant at all but I'd like to give it a try.

So I guess, what I'm asking is: where do you live? Have you noticed something similar between you and your neighbors? I don't know- age? Gender? Abilities? Hobbies? [A shrug] I don't really know what could be relevant. Also, feel free to answer anonymously if you'd rather- or in my inbox, to keep it private? Whichever way you feel comfortable.

And with that done... something completely different. If I'm right, Thanksgiving should be just around the corner... [The sheepish grin of someone who's completely aware that he's indulging himself] So, what are your favorite Thanksgiving day recipes?

The Fire sector is more elaborate. My home, we make our homes look beautiful because who would want to live in a boring hole? That's about the only similarity.

Amusing. [The way he says the world makes it clear he's kind of taken it as an insult.] You find the fact that we trust each other an amusing thing? Trusting is pretty much the only thing keeping us from going at each other's throats sometimes, not to mention what makes us put enough information together to have an idea of what's actually going on.

I find it amusing that you're all so open about it. [A weakness that can be easily exploited.] I find it amusing that you put so much faith in each other.

What would you do, instead of trying to keep everyone working close together?

Let things play out how they would. People would work together regardless to reach a shared goal, that doesn't mean you'd trust each other though.

How do you work together when you're afraid of getting back-stabbed?

Because there's a damn job to do and only an idiot leaves himself open to being stabbed in the back. [Meaning, he's the one that does the stabbing.]

And because they are, in your opinion by the way, idiots that makes it alright to stab them? Instead of, you know, working together to achieve the same goal?

[It's like they aren't even speaking the same language.]

You can work with people and not leave yourself open. That's what I'm saying. And please, I wouldn't stab them in the back at such an obvious point. [And if there's a group? Hell no. He has to be sneaky. But he doesn't deny the actual fact he would stab someone in the back.]

No! No I wouldn't, that's not how things are done. I respect your culture and you're free to believe whatever you want, but I do not appreciate me and my culture being mocked because we believe in teamwork.

How pathetic. An injured party is only going to drag you down and potentially cause you're own death. It's best to either give them a quick death so you can move on or to just leave them behind and save yourself or the rest of a patrol.

We're not talking about an injured 'party', we're talking about someone you know. Someone you've shared things with. Does that really mean nothing to you?

Whether I know them or not makes no difference, if they get hurt, they die either way, and if they don't? Good for them, they're made of strong stuff. I'd leave my brother behind. [No, he'd kill him for being weak and bringing shame to the family. He'd kill him if he was injured because that would be the only chance Dinin would get for killing his brother.

[He tightens his lips. It's not that he doesn't see where he's coming from, but he wouldn't be able to do something so cold hearted.]
