For your kindness I'm in debt to you

[Clark has hardly used the network to make posts as Clark lately, not since he got the radio started... but it wasn't really that he was avoiding it, not really. Investigating about the murders, then the disappearances had simply taken most of his free time, and he hadn't had much to say.

When he turns on the feed he's playing around with what looks like a calligraphy brush between his fingers, tapping the shaft against a very basic notebook.]

The new arrivals made me think of something. [And judging by the notebook, he's trying to make sense of it by himself. Those who actually know him know how fast his brain actually is... but he's always had the Kryptonian technology to back him down, and now he finds it missing.]

We're assigned living space when we get here, right? And we don't really choose it, we're simply given directions to it when we arrive. And we know there are 5 districts, and different kind of suites on each. Some of them are obvious [Hi, Arthur, of course you live in Water] but others aren't. I live in Water, while my wife was given a suite in the Earth sector.

[She didn't spend a single day there but that's beyond the point. You might actually see her on the background, she likes doing that.] And I thought maybe there could be some kind of pattern, something in the way the Kedan organize us in each district and place. It might not be relevant at all but I'd like to give it a try.

So I guess, what I'm asking is: where do you live? Have you noticed something similar between you and your neighbors? I don't know- age? Gender? Abilities? Hobbies? [A shrug] I don't really know what could be relevant. Also, feel free to answer anonymously if you'd rather- or in my inbox, to keep it private? Whichever way you feel comfortable.

And with that done... something completely different. If I'm right, Thanksgiving should be just around the corner... [The sheepish grin of someone who's completely aware that he's indulging himself] So, what are your favorite Thanksgiving day recipes?

I ended up in Earth sector. The only one of my friends, too. Everybody else from Beacon Hills ended up in Fire or Wood. I don't know what this says about me. Either I'm super weird or the Kedan knew that putting me too close to Scott would result in shenanigans.

[Bruce just. MATERIALIZES. Because he does that. He likes to give the perpetual impression of being just an arm's length away at all times. In reality he actually came to talk to Lois but this works too.]

Well, I live in a giant treehouse with Dick and Jack. [And some other guy she hasn't met yet], but I couldn't possibly imagine what the three of us have in common.

Well, I'm good at water magic, and I'm in the water sector... but I don't know about my neighbors.

You have to ask when it involves free food?

[Thanksgiving with the League is just a Thing that he's not going to skip, and not just because of free food. They were his first family.]

Connor, Dinah, and I all ended up in Water, by the way, and when Roy was here, he was in Metal, I think. Sora got a place in Earth, Guy in Fire.

I've always assumed it's random. I'm in Earth, for what it's worth, but I haven't been able to figure any kind of pattern out. We'd probably have to have some accurate statistics on the exact demographics present in order to even begin to compare and try to work out any patterns, assuming there are any. For instance, my building seems to be pretty young. I think I'm the oldest person living there. Then again, it seems like there are a disproportionate number of young, under-30 people here.

[He still doesn't get why his idea of fun didn't go so great with everyone.]

I don't think there's any sort of pattern. I don't think they have a clue. They put me in Metal, which is cool and all, but the place they gave me is way too big.

I always thought they gave me a place in the Wood Sector because I was used to sleeping in trees. Well, on... trees. This is the first time I've lived IN the tree.

There are lots of cultures that use elemental determination to find common traits.

I'm in the Metal sector… Not really sure why.

So it's… It's nearly Thanksgiving already?

I'm in Earth Sector, but I've got no idea why.

I was placed in Metal. I always assumed it was because it's most like what I'm used to.

There is no one that is like me, I'm afraid. But I do have an affiliation with the sector which I am in. I am one who communicates with earth spirits... well, just my children, to be exact.

What is Thanksgiving? ... there are supposed to be recipes related to it? Like what? Blood pies?

How can knowing any of this be helpful? You already said that some people it makes sense for them and others it doesn't. [Dinin looks bored as well as wrapped up and it might look like he's just shrugged.] I don't know my neighbors and I doubt we'd have anything in common with each other, even if I did. I'm in the Fire sector, I suppose it's the most similar to my home.

[He looks a little confused now.]
