[ Loki doesn't even have a plan for dealing with Tony right then. He's much too busy with a complicated and immensely delicate magical working for the next few weeks.

This doesn't change the fact thay he knows he makes people justifiably nervous when he smiles a certain way, or takes a particular tone. ]

[Tony unfortunately has no clue what Loki is doing. It was a bluff intended to thwart whatever the god might be trying to do before it got too far, even though he knows that Loki isn't going to be cowed by him. He was hoping that bringing it up would deter him, like taking the element of surprise away from a cat.

But Loki called his bluff and Tony is left scowling.]

Just... whatever it is, don't. I don't want to end up with one of your messes. That isn't remotely close to anything I've done.

[He's pretty sore that he has to admit not knowing what Loki is up to, but he's holding onto the point anyway.]
