[It's hard to be sure of the camera's angle, but it's definitely propped up somehow, with the speaker hanging upside-down from the ceiling, because why not. Scrawny, scruffy, in his early teens, and some kind of fuzzy, blue elf-demon. When he speaks, it's with a clipped Brooklyn accent.]

So... the turtle is new and different. I've done space whales, but not reality-turtles.

Anyway. Longshot, but any of my team here? Lookin' for a General James Howlett especially, or Miz Alison Blaire? ...Hercules? ...Emmaline Frost-Summers? I mean, she doesn't even like me and I think she's a goddess now, but worth a shot.

Guessing not, though, so does anybody need somethin' fixed? Because I hate being bored, and unless somebody's got a mission that needs doing, I'mma be a huge pain in the butt.

That actually sounds like a pretty decent law. Makes me wish we had it back home. [He pauses and smirks a little.] What was your class doing during that mix-up?

Building an internal combustion engine. Our teacher was a big history of science geek and got a grant from someplace.

Wait, what do your cars use if they don't have engines?

There are still engines. Just not powered by fossil fuels. Most cars were electric, though there were some other designs on the road.

Huh, sounds like you've got some pretty smart people in charge of environmental stuff back in your world.

Yeah, it worked pretty well. From what the team told me, pretty weird, but good weird.

Well, weird good is a nice change. We could all use more of that kind of weird.

If you got a functioning electric motor working here, I'm sure you'd make a mint.

Is there a reason that hasn't happened? I mean, simple batteries and basic mechanics are kinda limiting when it comes to materials, but is there too much magic going on or something?

I think it's lack of materials and the inventor types being distracted.

Materials are definitely a pain, but I could do some real simple stuff from the ground up...

If you need help gathering materials, I could try to lend a hand.

It'd definitely be cool if you knew where to look. I mean, if it's really all pre-industrial around here I might be limited to making potato clocks for a while, but we could always try and be creative.

I know where to find some things. Can't promise I'll find everything but I learned where to get some stuff while looking for things I'd need for my job here.

Thankfully we're not quite at post-apocalyptic here but that is a good skill to have.

I've been to a couple of worlds that ended before I got there, and I gotta say I have never been a fan.

There'd be a problem if you were. I mean, most people that are fans of ended worlds tend to be the super villain sorts.

That and it involves Nazis, like, surprisingly often. Ew.

I just find it weird that they happen so often. Howlett was the only one of us from a world without them, except for Cyke, who I guess was before them?
