[Cass unclasps her hands and instead puts them on the console, leaning in as her smile turns into a frown, her brows furrowing.]

[Cass has gone from angry to annoyed by the time she gets this reply. It's a nice offer from someone she doesn't know. Ah. She had chosen the public forum for a reason so that if someone was near Hiro, they would tell him to give the rice cooker back. While she had correctly determined that it was Hiro who took it, she still isn't as mad as she normally would be.

The offer is appreciated, but Cass isn't quite sure how to take it. It's really nice! Just very unexpected, and especially so in response to an angry message. So have an awkward smile as she rubs one of her upper arms with a hand.]

Thank you... If Hiro can't put it back together tonight, I might take you up on that.

[Truthfully Anton uses both his rice-cookers regularly, because with as many people in the Hotel as he has it's quicker; but they can live without rice for a few days if needed.]

[Everyone and everything is conspiring against Cass and her well-deserved anger towards her youngest nephew. That question from this new face puts the last twenty or so nails in her anger's coffin.

It's not the café or the compliments about her donuts that gets her. It's the fact that they came from Tadashi. That Tadashi had missed her very much. That he could say he missed her very much.

Oh, sweetie. She lets out a bit of a sigh and smiles, putting a hand over her heart. Tadashi is probably going to get another hug the next time she catches sight of him. Well, both of the brothers, really. She can't hug one without hugging the other. They come as a unit, and now the unit is once again whole.

... She's still annoyed, though! Not happy! Annoyed! But she's also a bit touched.]

I don't remember exactly what he said, I just know when I was sick and he took care of me, he talked about his home at the café with his aunt and baby brother. I definitely remember about the donuts though, because I made him some as a thank-you! But I bet they were nowhere near as good as auntie Cass'.


Also, if Hiro is trying to reverse engineer your rice cooker, can you tell him to give me one? And that if he doesn't ask you first next time I'll make Bird poop in his hair.

Thank you, but I'll be fine. The rice cooker is just easier and automatic. [A bit of a conspiratorial whisper.] But don't tell Hiro that. I told him that dinner was on the line so he'd put it back together!

[Pepper hasn't met either Tadashi or Hiro yet, but she knows someone who is very handy when it comes to building things. Someone who she is currently upset with, but who can be helpful in certain situations nonetheless.]

I know someone who can build you another. He might add some...extra features, though.
