Radio (Two days after the possession attempt)
I'm sorry...I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't even know it could.
[She sounds exhausted.]
And I know that several of you are hurting as a result of what happened when I tried to possess Tu Vishan...
[The fact that the other foreigners had seen the vision was distressing, she didn't like being used for anything, even if it was by a benevolent being. It was still just too reminiscent of Malicant.]
But the turtle is alive.
[Her voice is quieter now.]
And that vision...I believe it came from him.
[She sounds exhausted.]

[If you hadn't, Shay would have had words.]
Are you okay?
no subject
No.

[And he's not best pleased about it. He has enough trauma of his own.]
Probably means more to people who were here at the time... I take it you were?
no subject
[Not only because the hatchlings had been murdered, but because Evandau had been as well, and she wasn't entirely convinced that it hadn't been her power that had killed him.]

[ Even if there was still bad blood and he hadn't and didn't plan to apologies. That didn't stop him from caring in his own way.]

[She realized that he was worried, even if his tone did not suggest it, but she had no intentions of revealing her location, she still needed time and the last thing she wanted was people bothering her. She was, of course, now in the hotel, but there was no need to reveal that to everyone.]

Good.

[And now she knew. Where it had come from. Why.]
[Just not what to do next.]
What was it, exactly? A cry for help? A recurring nightmare?

Or maybe it is gravity. Just the regular, old, can't fight it without some sort of special ability kind.
He hasn't contacted us in months, right? Maybe because he's not in control.

[It came out as a growl, but it was really fear that drove the anger. She didn't particularly like what was being suggested.]

Know any good local sedatives, or should I just go ask Raine and get told off about how addictive those can be?

[Yeah, so that coffee? He sure as hell didn't sleep that night. Which is fine. He wasn't keen on follow-up visions. Still, he sounds mostly tired and can't even really be upset about what happened, it was just...disturbing.]
What was it? I mean, besides... [He swallows hard.] ...besides dying turtles.
And what about that makes you think the turtle's living?
no subject
I'm sorry, Hiro...
[If she was having nightmares, then he must be having them as well.]
The one who killed the turtles is dead, and he can't hurt anyone anymore.
[She wouldn't tell him more about Malicant, but as for Tu Vishan.]
What I...we experienced was like a memory...but it wasn't a memory that any of us possess...hence it had to come from the Turtle. He couldn't share such a thing with us if he was dead...
no subject
[She didn't say it, but it's not hard to figure out. Hiro wasn't here for all that happened, but people have told him things, and really, he's a sharp little tack.]
...Maybe the turtle's alive. Maybe. [A beat. He swallows.] But have you considered maybe that memory didn't come from the turtle?
[What if Malicant's not as dead as you think he is.]
no subject
Malicant is dead, Hiro...I would have known if it was him.
[There would be no doubt if it was Malicant's memory, Malicant had a darkness that no one could match.]

Radio:
[Enjolras is quite serious about the question, both as it comes to the state of affairs, and the woman who is responsible for the shared vision.]
I am sorry that you had to be a part of it. I cannot imagine that. [and then, another question that's occurred to him.]
Might you know if they...our hatchlings who are alive experienced this with us?
no subject
I don't know...[She replied quietly, answering both his questions in a single sentence.]
I can feel the hatchlings...they are very distant, but I don't recall feeling them during the vision.
[She had been somewhat distracted by Malicant murdering the other hatchlings.]
no subject
[Enjolras is sighing in relief at the idea that the hatchlings don't SEEM to have been involved. Taraja...he can't bear to think of that happening to her again. As for Valdis, who he knows mostly by sight only too, he does want to do SOMETHING to help her.]
If you need to speak about it, or a distraction of some sort, I would be glad to be of service. We've not formally met, have we? But I know a bit of what it is for awful things to haunt you for a time.

Lady Valdis?
[He's perfectly willing to have a lap full of either wolf or young lady on this occasion, if that's what she needs.]
Of course <3
You should be resting...

[Truthfully the walk up the stairs, even activating the escalator feature, was making his knees shake and his vision turn vaguely on its axis.]
