Text.
I'm going to need someone to explain the metrics of this place without mentioning the giant turtle. Before you ask; yes, I have seen it. Though seeing it does little to convince me of its authenticity. I'd never get very far if I took everything at face value.
That being said, Discussions on Science and verifiable facts only. if you intend to talk magic don't bother responding. Your input isn't needed.

I suppose you couldn't possibly know anything about me but the first thing you'll learn is that I have a passion for Definite and Exact Knowledge. I'm well aware that Magic explained by science is purely science. Saying something is magic is a poor and lazy way to go about an explanation and why I don't wish to speak with anyone willing to provide such a lazy answer.
And that said, Yes, I saw the turtle with my own eyes-no I don't believe it's a real turtle. Show me the x-ray and I may be willing to talk. The second thing you'll learn is that I don't theorize without data. Otherwise one is led to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.

problem is, a lot of the magic users are from worlds that aren't technologically advanced, or they are but they're not research specialists. they're not great at explaining things in terms of modern science. and we don't have advanced analytical instruments here. you can take a look at my data if you want, though. good old fashioned observation.
but seriously, man, we're dealing with dimensional travel and a giant turtle is what you're getting hung up on? I don't have x-rays strong enough to penetrate the shell, but I've seen the juveniles of the species and they're definitely alive. if it's bugging you that much I can fly you up and you can watch it swim.

no problem. most of my data's on sigils, they're what I've worked the most with. it's a good experimental system because anyone can learn to use them. my lab's in the college. ask for tony stark.
can you speed-read? it's a lot of notes, and you can't take them with you until I feel like reinventing a photocopier.
no subject
Yes, that won't be a problem.
You have a lab?

And would you mind if I occasionally used it to perform experiments? It's necessary for my work.
SH

hey, buddy, get your own lab.
but maybe you can use it until then. sometimes. depends on what kind of experiments. what's the work you're doing?

also how old are you? and what percentage arthropod would you say you are? just curious.
[...Really, those are relevant questions, he swears.]
no subject
In answer to your questions, I'm thirty-seven and reasonably certain no percentage of me is part arthopod. Last I checked, I would defintely by classified as a vertebrate.

and that's a yes on the chemistry, no on the corpses. [Um?? Gross?? What the hell?] it's an engineering lab, remember?
if you're dealing with corpses you should be working with the police force anyway. talk to Valdis or Pepper Potts about that.
no subject
[ Valdis and Pepper Potts. He stores the names away for later use. ]
Would you happen to have the address of the police station? If I intend to continue my career as a consulting detective then It might be precedent to introduce myself to the local law enforcement.

[He also attaches the address of the police headquarters, and Pepper and Valdis' handset codes. And hopes really hard that that will keep Dr. Frankenstein here from showing up at his doorstep with random cadavers.]

a few of the foreigners auto-revive anyway, but that's an innate ability, not a Keeliai thing.

A few? It isn't everyone?
