[ His understanding, upon arrival, was that he wasn't unique in this place. Others, from other worlds, worlds far different even from the one that he had been stranded on, had arrived here too. He should wait, reason told him - other members of the Kree might be here. Avengers might be here. An infinite number of universes meant the probability of anyone with a specific grudge against him was minimal, but the world rarely ever functioned at its best, at least in terms of luck and fate.

He noticed these consoles allowed for three different options: video, audio, and text. Video would be brazenly inviting trouble, and although brazen was his usual MO, he was still recovering from recent events.

Text was... so not him.

Audio - well, voices were pretty easy to mistake?

The feed opened to a few seconds of silence. ]

...Hello. [ Another pause. ]

I seem to have found myself, like many of you, far from home. For the second time in my life. At least this time there's no one trying to vivisect me.

[ An attempt at humor? It was hard to tell with how flatly that was said and because of the third pause that followed. ]

Aside from these consoles, what sorts of technology are available here? Anything more advanced?

I've asked a few times and apparently there isn't a lot to do around here to keep busy. There's getting a job and people throw parties but no one's mentioned much else going on.

You'll want to contact Stark Industries for anything in regards to decent technology. What sort of technology are you used to from your world?

I didn't know Mr. Stark was present here. [ But that last question, though, he it did draw a little bit of a chuckle from him. ]

Technology a little more advanced than his.

[There's a few moments pause as Pepper realizes that this is probably someone from Victor's world.]

We may not be talking about the same Mister Stark.

[Give her a few moments of fiddling before the video comes on and a well put together Pepper with slightly damp hair that's pulled back into a ponytail is visible. She's not sitting though, more moving to put in a pair of earrings.]

Was there a Civil War in your world that took place between superheros and non-superheros?

I'm glad that's not the case. [ Sob. If it's not the vivisecting, people are trying to mess with his head and make him some kind of living weapon. It's a horrible life.

Green Lantern, though? He's never heard of any such designation. At least, he was assuming it was a title and not a genuine name. ]

You're also totally out of luck with the whole tech thing. It's like the middle ages here.

That's increasingly obvious. I find it odd that we have these consoles, though.

[ This particular voice is not modulated as much as people's (well, humans') voices tend to be, so it's hard to tell if she's just deadpanning or if she just doesn't emote well. ]

Vivisection would be a very unpleasant welcome to this city, I am glad they do not perform it on us when we arrive.

I have not found anything more advanced than the consoles among native technologies however it is possible that someone is sufficiently technologically knowledgeable and has created more advanced devices for their own use.

[ He's not exactly the master of human emotion either, so he might just not notice or care about such things. At least at first. ]

I'm capable of cobbling something together, in theory, but I'd hate to try taking apart my console and then end up with nothing in the end.
