I wouldn't say annoying. Just weird. They're mostly extinct where I'm from.

Oh, bass? It's kind of like a guitar, only with four strings, and it plays in the bass range rather than the treble. I can play both, but I just have my bass with me.

I play the piano, though I don't have my own here. Do you need a singer perhaps or I could try to scare up a drum-substitute somewhere if you like?

Yeah, a jam session. We just kind of get into a flow together and enjoy each others company through improvisational music.

Piano's cool. Any number of singers is good, too. Of course, we'll need a place to be. I don't know any of my neighbors, and I kind of don't want to start off on the wrong foot if anyone's really cranky about noise, you know? The more the merrier, though, provided we find a place. Are there any clubs here? parks?

Now that you mention it, that is kinda weird. I mean, for all the dimensions we're getting pulled from, you'd think there'd be a pretty equal mix.

[Like one weird looking green guy with six arms for every human or something. Look how's he supposed to know what else is out there, his universe is pretty boring when it comes to biological diversity.]

So either the giant turtle's got some bias issues, or we managed to corner the market on biodiversity.

You'd be surprised. Diversity's pretty crazy where I'm from, but I think that's because there's dimensional rifts pretty much wherever you step.

Where I'm from, they pretty much went extinct or mutated into crazy stuff. Last time I saw so many was when I was still a little kid.

Why not use video? You shy? Believe me, whoever you are, I've seen way weirder.

I don't know how to play any instruments, but I can sing, if you find enough people for something like that. I was in a band back home.

Were you? Rocktastical! I was in a few jam bands, nothing fancy, here and there. It was pretty awesome! I wanted to start something up back home pretty recently, but we all had our own lives to deal with, it wouldn't have panned out.

Singers are all right. I can sing, too. Jamming isn't about who's got the lead, it's about who can play well with others for short periods of time.

I'm not a team player except when it comes to music.

If you're into doing fun things, this place is a total drag. Sometimes there's a party, which if you've got a bass and get a band together would be so awesome. We do find out some crazy things though. It's messed up here.
