[ So the question Wally really wanted to ask here, after having been settled in his suite by those lovely, if odd-looking things that brought him from some palace, was- did they really expect him to buy the whole "in-between life and death" thing? This felt way too real, compared to that time he had been stuck in the Helm of Fate, even though he could feel pain in that instance.
If this was something remotely like that place inside the Helm, anyway, it was a lot better decorated. Empty blue space could get really old, really fast.
Still. He wasn't too impressed with the story as it was told to him, and he figured he'd test the waters on this network. ]
So, introductions are in order. Name's Wally West. I'm sixteen years old and from Central City. [ ASL, much? ]
Anyone want to tell me how far we gotta row a boat out til we hit the studio door? [ As if this were a movie about some reality TV show, obviously. Seriously, though, he was rolling his eyes a bit. It probably didn't help that the last thing he could remember before arriving here was a mission going sour due to someone's insecurities. Duplicity, which he figured was being dished out here, was not doing anything to make his mood any better. ]

His Flash! His Flash is here!
The feed flicks on and he's off-camera, quickly moving stuff off his chair. The only part of Kyle visible is his arms, and the ring.] Dude! When did you get here?

His eyes glanced at the feed. This was encrypted? ]
Not too long ago, GL. [ A day at the most? He'd been wiped out when he had arrived and had fallen asleep for a good bit. ]
You're- Guy Gardner? [ Barry had told him about that one. ]

Doctor Soranik Natu, Sector 1417 - and there's no way to escape as far as anyone has been able to tell. Certainly nothing so simple as a just walking out a door.
video;
Don't worry about that. It was just a movie reference.~
So, a doctor? Any chance you can tell me if this is a hallucination?

Hey, Wally. I'm Victor.
And sorry but there's no way off this crazy place. Rowing out won't get you anywhere but back here.
Nice to meet you, Victor.
Eh- I figured, just trying to lighten the mood a bit. So, uh- Aside from being stranded from home, is it me or does everyone seem a little touchy around here?
Maybe. What do you mean touchy? Something happen?

[Hi, Wally. Who...either doesn't remember being here before, in which case oh boy, or else he's doing a very good job of pretending he doesn't. She had a feeling he wasn't that great an actor.]
No studio doors, unfortunately, though I wouldn't rule out a bunch of hidden cameras floating around.
[In fact, she can pretty much guarantee the cameras.]
But forget all that and cue the grin. Someone familiar! ]
Zee! Haha, c'mon- If I really wanted to do a bad dating service vid, I'd go with something like, "I like romantic walks on the beach and I'm really just looking for someone to show my true self to." [ Pft. ]
I don't know how any girl could possible resist such a beautifully cliched line like that.

Unfortunately, there will be no boat taking us from this place that easily.

Damn. What are the chances of us being able to swim for it? [ A joke, clearly. He's happy to see Kaldur, definitely. ]

There's a barrier around this city that knocks you out. You won't have to row too far out to hit it.
