Ah, hello. Y’all really know how to make a girl feel welcome, don’t you? The view in this place… it’s fantastic. _{( They obviously can’t see the view, but she’s sitting on one of the upper levels in an apartment in the Wood Sector. The view is fantastic. )}

Everyone’s been real helpful, so far, but there’s something I need that I couldn’t ask the tour guides about… not without explaining, at least.

_{( If the video was on, her bright red cheeks would be entirely visible. Which may be the reason it isn’t on, come to think of it. )}

I need some other clothes. Anything long, with sleeves… and gloves. I’d get it myself, but. I can’t. I know there’s a market near here, and if you’re willing I’ll give you my size and…

If you could bring it here, where it’s less crowded, it’d be better. I’ll pay you back, help you out with something if you need it. And I’d be real grateful.

[Actually, Pepper has no idea what it's like to be a mutant who can kill you by shaking your hand. She just thinks that they took Rogue from an unfortunate timeframe and the poor girl doesn't have anything to wear.]

Potts. I'm Pepper Potts. In the meantime the bed sheets make decent clothing substitutes. Where should I bring this clothing to?

_{( She takes a second to turn on the video feed, showing her cocooned in a blanket from her bed. )}

I figured that much out, but it'd still be kinda risky to go to the market like this.

Please, call me Pepper, everyone does. You're actually pretty close to a few friends of mine.

[She smiles at the sight, remembering her first night in this place and the make shift suit out of her fire sector bed sheets. She hadn't actually been brought here naked, but she wasn't about to be seen with messy hair and Tony's t-shirt and boxers still dripping wet on her.]

What size do you need, and did you say gloves?

[Yeah, that glove part confuses her. rogue doesn't look like the older people that have arrived here and there. They seemed a bit more ready to dry their things and then post rather then make a public post over the network. Besides, that white streak in her hair seemed pretty modern. Unless it wasn't hair dye.]

Pepper, then. _{( There's a laugh there, albeit a bit of a nervous one. Then she gets it together a bit and nods. )}

As for sizes... _{( She starts measuring her height out with her hands, which causes the blanket to slip a bit. She's dressed like this, which basically explains her need for a better wardrobe. Not why she can't acquire it herself, though. )}

The gloves're important. I don't want to--it's just best if I can cover up.

[That wasn't suspicious at all. Pepper made a note to keep an eye on Rogue's actions for a little bit. It could be something as simple as Rogue having a different thought of what 'fully dressed' meant. All the same Pepper was fairly certain that Rogue wasn't dangerous or a threat.]

Gloves, and a modest set of clothing. Is there anything else you need?

Nah, that's it. I can deal with everything else myself.

[Yeah, there's no way Pepper is getting a teenager booze, so it's a good thing that Rogue seems to be joking about that part.

She takes a moment to look over her schedule for the day and rearrange a few things. picking up clothing for the girl shouldn't take too long, and it's something she would consider a priority. After all, if the roles were reversed she's want those cloths right away.]

I should be able to get them to you within the hour. Where would you like me to have it delivered to?

[she smirks.]

[Pepper lets out a soft puff of air from her nose. She doesn't really think of Jack as being someone who 'comes in handy']

I suppose it does.
