001 ✦ Video

[ It had taken Ender a few days before he even checked the network, and a few more days before he decided to place himself upon it. When the video starts, it's the face of just another child -- but one that's exhausted. From his serious demeanor and lack of a smile, he seems much older than he is in all actuality. ]

Earth -- I'm not talking about the sector -- does the name hold any significance to you? I've been wondering how many people here come from a place called Earth and just how many Earths haven't had to face the Bugger Wars. From what I've seen of the guests, many appear human overall and some even with the same technological advancements and understanding that are prominent in my world. If we're trapped in this place between life, dreaming and death, then I suppose it wouldn't be impossible to dream of the existence of alternate Earths.

[ Ender forces a smile, but that's just what it is. Forced. He's really in no mood to showcase good cheer. ]

If it isn't asking too much, even if you don't come from some variation of Earth, I'd like to know about your world. Subsequently, I can tell you anything you wish to know about mine. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed that we're being kept in the dark by the natives here. What they know and what they're planning doesn't concern me as much as our lack of understanding about the universes that surround us. I feel the better we understand one another, the more trust we can put in each other and the better equipped we become as a whole to any crisis that may arise. Sometimes, in a war, the most crippling blow can be dealt not by the enemy but by lies and mistrust.

That's all. Thank you for your time.

They did.

They were cast into an alternate world where their lives were actually represented as a fictional show on television.

Their lives were a work of fiction; men who were identical to them played them as characters. There was a duplicate for myself as well. [It was really weird and Dean and Sam seemed like super pissed off about it.]

He was apparently very unlikeable.

[But whatever, not like it affects Cas.]

Anyway, that's just one of several possible alternates. My same friend also witnessed his future, which is mathematically impossible. It could have been an parallel universe that is slightly out of sync with our own, or a fabrication of the mind, but apparently it was very in-depth.

The alternate future hinged upon the nature of a decision he had to make. Given that the decision was still the same and the outcome was different, it's likely that the timeline splintered due to his interference and created an anomaly in spacetime where both realities exist parallel to each other.

But I haven't checked, so I'm not sure. [Maybe he should investigate when he gets back home.]

This one I was pulled into; whether intentionally or unintentionally, I don't know for certain. I can't leave it, at any rate. [Not for lack of trying.]

[Hey what's up, here's a guy suicidal enough to have tried it.]

When I attempted to leave, I lost consciousness over the water and woke up returned to the back of the turtle.

One mile. [Cas pauses.] Three-fourths of a mile vertically, from the center-most point of the shell. The dimensions seem to be elliptical.

[Now that he thinks about it...] I lost consciousness prior to hitting the water; I suffered no injuries that I know of, but then again it's difficult to injure me.

It takes very specific conditions to kill or permanently wound a creature like me. A high-velocity impact isn't one of them.

I'm an angel. Specifically, I'm comprised of photons and various other particles woven together with a single intent by resonating wavelengths of higher thought.

[Oh that's cute. The universe operates the way it operates; it just seems advanced because humans are only just beginning to develop the scientific theory necessary to understand it.] The bible isn't a reliable source either; there's nothing in human literature that accurately portrays angels.

Castiel.

[Is this a conversation? He thinks this counts.]

If you have any further questions about alternate dimensions, let me know.
