I’ve onlee met one ~~othur~~ spirit befor. He was the last ~~Avitar~~ befor me. The onlee person with white hair was the spirit of the moon. But you're winter spirit. Not a moon spirit. ~~Write~~ Right?

[ NOW Jack's pretty surprised and he changes to video because it would take too long to write this all out. ]

Spirit of the Moon? In my world, we have a Man in the Moon and he's... actually the reason my hair is white. But I'm still the Spirit of Winter.

[Oh snap. The sudden change to video pries her focused attention away from finger pecking the keyboard and jotting down notes. Explanation time just jumped on her out of nowhere.]

Wow... Okay. [She's hastily scrambling her drink, notepad, and sea prunes out of the way.]

They just went over that.] Okay, so; A long time ago the Spirit of the Moon was kind enough to lend part its life energy to a baby girl so she could live and because of that she grew up had white hair. [Why did Katara teach her this story? It teared her up every single time, so Korra opts to skip the love part.] Eventually the Moon Spirit was gravely injured and she sacrificed herself so it wouldn't die...

[She averts her eyes while waiting for the sting in her eyes to go away. Jack got the long and short of the story while she was recalling all the details her waterbending master had told her over the years.]

She was the only person with white hair in recorded history. That's why I asked if you were a spirit. [She's still letting her brain process that he was an actual spirit.]

Man in the Moon? Our Moon Spirit was named Tui and was paired the Ocean Spirit La. So you got your white hair from the moon too... [Her mind is boggled, give her a moment.]

And you're the Winter Spirit! [Yep, moments over.] I'm from the South Pole! It's always winter there!

[ Jack digests the tale's recount silently, pensively. There are a few rather startling similarities and it really leaves him wondering. ]

North told me that the Man in the Moon's name is really Tsar Lunar, that he used to be a prince from a long time ago.

[ Jack gives Korra a smile at her enthusiasm over her home, but it is rather strained. ]

The South Pole that I know is always winter too. I go there to play with the penguins sometimes.

A prince? Huh…[That’s a new one for her. Not too out of the ordinary, but new.]

Penguin sledding! One of the few things I got to enjoy while I was training. [Because that’s what playing with penguins is. At least on her world.]

Back home no one could see or interact with the Spirit World except the Avatar. This so cool! You’re my first actual spiritual experience! [Previous Avatars don’t count apparently.] Er…no pun intended.

You went sledding on them? That's awesome!

[ He's totally going to try that when he gets back home. Those poor, poor penguins. ]
