[It's hard to be sure of the camera's angle, but it's definitely propped up somehow, with the speaker hanging upside-down from the ceiling, because why not. Scrawny, scruffy, in his early teens, and some kind of fuzzy, blue elf-demon. When he speaks, it's with a clipped Brooklyn accent.]

So... the turtle is new and different. I've done space whales, but not reality-turtles.

Anyway. Longshot, but any of my team here? Lookin' for a General James Howlett especially, or Miz Alison Blaire? ...Hercules? ...Emmaline Frost-Summers? I mean, she doesn't even like me and I think she's a goddess now, but worth a shot.

Guessing not, though, so does anybody need somethin' fixed? Because I hate being bored, and unless somebody's got a mission that needs doing, I'mma be a huge pain in the butt.

Well, you could. Or you could jury-rig an awesome mass-port device to move the whole population and infrastructure from one doomed earth to an unpopulated one in another world. And all the cats!

Well, it kinda broke the multiverse a little... Or I guess exacerbated an existing weakness in the multiverse? But it was still a better solution than the one they had before, so it probably comes out even.

Um. Kidnapping mutants from other realities and draining us in a big spooky machine to hold their earth together? After they killed off most of their own, I mean.

Cake I'll join you for but it is way too cold for ice cream. Or ice anything for that matter.

...I have fur, so my opinions probably don't count. But it's never too cold for ice cream. It's just sometimes inside weather for ice cream. Or extreme challenge never-melt ice cream weather.

No, I just feel bad for you during the summer. [He offers a small smile.] Maybe that's a project you could work on here? Wearable, portable heating and cooling systems. A friend of mine has a cooling one since Summer is bad for him too but maybe you can make more?

Heating, maybe. Cooling is tricky to do without some real nasty chemicals, especially if it's open to the air...

What about if it's worn under clothing?

Unless it was some kind of plastic... And wearing a fancy bubble doesn't sound that much comfier than hiding under a tree and drinking a lot of lemonade.

What about some kind of pouches inside clothes? Like plastic pockets to put cooling things in?

But the cooling thing is... what makes stuff cool. If it's contained, the plastic is cool and that's it. Which might be nice to put in your pockets or something?

[Vic frowns a moment.] It sounds like I should just asks my friend to show you the cooling thing he has since the science of it is a little over my head.

Yeah, that'd prolly help. It could be whoever made that one didn't care that much about the pollution angle.
