[A broad smile is on Korra’s face when she turns on the video feed. She’s leaning to one side of the chair and looking pleased as punch.]

I’ll be reopening the dojo in the Wood Sector and I need some teachers, mentors, instructors- whatever you want to call yourselves, to teach people that want to learn. Any fighting style will do, but if it’s martial arts; then all the better.

If you’re interested in lessons, get in touch with me here or privately. I don't know how much lessons are going to be yet, but I'll try to keep it low.

[There's a pause where Korra considers her next words and her smile fades a little.]

If you're half as good as Dinah Lance is [Not was.] then I need to talk you.

[Four months of training with Dinah isn't enough for Korra. She wants to dig in further into the various styles she was mastering, and this is the only way she knows of to find someone that can help her do just that.]

[Point made, and now that she gets what he meant; Korra’s eyes pop open.]

Oh. Right. [Awkward bite of steak. It’s a testament to how long Korra’s known the turtles that she doesn’t even think twice of them looking out of the ordinary, or once for that matter.]

Well, I guess Tu Vishan’s the place where we can actually have money.

[He's totally not chuckling at Korra's expense. Totally not. He's also not talking with his mouth full, because that'd be rude as well.]

Kind of wild, isn't it?

I wonder if I can get The Bookends on board. They're both so...so...Leo about everything.

[Talking with your mouth full is never rude, just look at Korra with her cheeks full and somehow speaking clearly.]

There aren’t that many ninjas that I can ask to teach. I think you guys are it.

You never know, there might be more that you don't know about. That's the thing about ninjas, we're wiley that way.

Yeah, good point. [The only other possible ninja she knows of is one she’d rather avoid. Forever.]

But, you’re the ones I trust so it may as well just be you guys.

[michaeljangelo]

[He sits up just a little bit taller at her compliment.]

No one will ever accuse you of having bad taste.
Mostly because if they do, it'll be the last thing they ever say and they'll spend the rest of their lives eating through a straw.

[Okay, that’s sweet.] Thanks Mike. You really think they might go for it?

[Korra knew they favored the dojo since she managed to keep a window unlocked so they could use it at night, but teaching during the day was something entirely different.]

[He half shrugs.]

Honestly? No idea. It can't hurt to ask though.

Hey, if it helps: I can always go with you when you do ask. [Letting Mike explain this one one his own isn't something she's entirely comfortable with.]

Iiiiiii might just take you upon that. They fear change.

[She gives a quick chuckle before she finished chewing.] You got it dude.

[Why did Bolin ever introduce her to the word ‘dude’?] Leo’s good with me, I should be able to bring him around. Leonardo, well, I can try. [He can be intensely serious at times, and Korra could only sway that which could bend.]

[It's as adorable to hear her say it as it is to hear Splinter to so.]

Yeah... I think that one's even more uptight than MY Leo is, and that's saying something.

We’ll tackle him together. [Well, not tackle tackle, but he knew what meant.]

Just make sure not to accidentally grab for his tail.

[Mike. Just. Grins.]

[Flattest look ever. Mike, you are not funny.]

[Not funny?! Mike is hysterical!
Or, at least he thinks so judging by the peal of giggles that just erupted out of him.]

[She’s not even acknowledging the laughter.]

We don’t talk about the boob-tail thing. [As serious as one can be while pointing a forkful of steak.]

[No way is she explaining how she knows about the sensitivity of a turtle’s tail to either Leonardo. Even though they were both present in Sinbrilee.]

So set up a day when you want to talk to them and let me know. I’ll make them eat sea prunes if they say no. [She’s kidding.

[Nice subject shift you've got there, Korra. Mike approves. And you can tell he approves by the fact that his grin has grown three sizes and he's fighting back another peal of laughter.]

I can do that. Though...I don't know that food threats are really all that likely to work. Not that like, you shouldn't try.

[You'd be surprised what he and his family will eat when push comes to shove.]

[Just keep smiling, Mike. Her bottom lip sticking out will show you.]

I keep forgetting you guys ate algae and worms. [She pauses to take a drink of water.] Or at least, Leo did. I guess sea prunes may not be too bad.

[That gets a cringe out of Mike.]

I only ever once ate a worm, and I won five dollars for doing it too.
