[Percy is in his own suite for once, mostly so that any backlash from this won’t be directed at Annabeth. This attempt is marred a little by the fact that he has her shield on the desk in front of him, but oh well. Unlike his usually cheery face, his expression now is a little drawn, frowning]
Okay, I’m not really sure how to bring this up, so I’m just going to say it. It’s really important – as in, related to all of us being here – so you probably all want to hear this. But it might be upsetting, too? I don’t know how everyone’s going to feel about this, which is why it’s taken a while to come up. But with the palace starting to kidnap people involved off the streets, I think that people should know.
A couple of weeks ago, the underwater barrier went down. I don’t know how or why, but a couple of people were able to get past it and under the turtle itself. There was some kind of facility there that the kedan were taking supplies to, and when we went to have a closer look…
[He pauses for a second, before ultimately deciding to just forge ahead] It was a cloning facility. There were clones there of us – for some reason they were in giant light bulb tanks? I don’t even know. I don’t know if that means that we’re clones, or that they’ve just been making copies or something, but that’s what we found. We would’ve looked for more information, but the kedan decided to blow the whole place up, I guess. [He’s going to neglect to mention Kara’s helping hand with that] Ever since that happened, the new people arriving haven’t been pulled out of the ocean.
[He leans back, hand absently tapping on the edge of Annabeth’s shield] That’s all I know. And now Nita’s been basically kidnapped by the palace. You know, considering that swimming places isn’t exactly a capital offence. [The scowl is more of a glare now, and it kind of becomes apparent that Percy is actually really freaking angry]
So if anyone else wants to find out what the hell is going on – well, you probably shouldn’t talk to me about it, I kind of just painted a giant target on my forehead. But you guys have the information now, so do what you can with it.

I had other people around. [She says it softly. She wasn't alone once, but all the Daughters are gone now, and she's the last one hanging on by a fluke. She should have made her Choice by now, and she's in limbo.] Thanks, though. I'll think about it.

[He manages a smile, recognising her tone] That's true, but I still don't want to make you feel bad. If you need help with anything in this place, I'm here to lend a hand. Or, you know, hurricane. Whichever fits better.

I'm not really sure how a hurricane is supposed to help me, unless you're trying to figure out how well I hold up in the wind force?

[he opens his mouth for a second and then frowns You know, I've never really been sure how I get the wind going? It's more Jason's thing than mine. [If Percy's expression had a name right now it would be 'Blond superman e__e']

Jason? [Wait, Vanessa. Keep on topic.] Wait, okay. But hurricanes are still storms. Do you control them because of the ocean water that evaporates into the cyclones, or can you work with like... all water? All storms? [Nothing makes sense anymore!!!]

Son of Zeus. Jupiter. Whatever. Wind and lightning are his domain. He flies. [Percy doesn't fly :| He grins a little, though, as she gets into it, waiting for her to finish before he replies] All water. Salt water's best, but if it's water, I can use it. Even ice. [He'd explain that he can summon water from his body, but he wants to keep the one under wraps] I don't know about working with all storms. I think the wind just happens because of all the water I'm throwing around.

He flies? [She sounds like she's in awe. Because flying is cool. She flies. Sort of.] Shouldn't you be the son of the water god then, not the sea god? I'm just saying, sea conjures up ideas of like, seas and oceans, not toilets. [She's trying to like. Not concentrate on the fact that she might be a clone right now. This is just easier.] But that's not how hurricanes really work. You know that, right?

Please don't try and make it make sense, it might not work any more if I actually figure out that like, half the stuff I can do isn't possible. [He squints] I think my dad's role covers like, storms at sea and earthquakes? Which might explain it.

I don't think that's how it works! Applying logic doesn't make it automatically stop working, okay. It just makes it seem crazier than what it was before. [The most unsure face rn.] This is giving me a headache.
