Hi. My name’s. Korra. I’m the Avatar.
[There’s an awkward pause before she says her name. The cadence in her words is a bit off, a combination of never using the network before (or not that she can recall) and the unknown expectation of who will answer.]
Some of you may know me, I guess?
[Guh, she hates trying to cover it and just tackles the heart of the message.]
Look. I can’t remember anything since I was ghosted. [Or whatever the hell people are calling it.] Not this city, this turtle, or anyone.
But a doctor said that if I just hang around familiar things and people, even scents, then it might help me remember some things. I just, can’t force myself to remember them. So if you recognize me or know something else that could help I’d be grateful.

Did we all end up here at the same time?

How much of home do you we remember? We did not all arrive at the same time but as far as current events are concerned we were all relatively on the same page.

[Which begs the question:] Who are you?

Ah- [ He dwells on which name to give, but regardless of which one he gave it would only be a matter of time before someone else from their world would just tell her the other. Amon weighs his options, and find the idea that Korra latching onto the idea they had common ground would be useful. ] Noatak.

Noatak. [Like all the other names, she can't put a face to it or find anything in her memory that's even close to it.] Do you know who else is from our world?
[And she is getting a little tired of referring to this world or the other one, because she can't remember either of them.]

Not personally, no. [ Of course making that statement meant denying his brother, but he could only assume Tarrlok would do the same were he in his shoes. ]

Do you know anything that would be familiar to me?

The line goes quiet as he considers his next words carefully. This Korra with no memory is something he wants to poke and prod to see just what a lack of ego can do to a person. It was morbid curiosity in every sense. ]
I have...well, if you're interested; I have a small collection of newspapers from Republic City. Some are rather old, before your time, but you may find them of some use.

Wait, from our world? [There’s a pause on her end of the audio.] How did they get here?
[Her line of thought is if they can get here, then that means maybe that way can be traced back home. Whatever home is, really. But she waits to see if maybe they just came with him.]
