Hi. My name’s. Korra. I’m the Avatar.

[There’s an awkward pause before she says her name. The cadence in her words is a bit off, a combination of never using the network before (or not that she can recall) and the unknown expectation of who will answer.]

Some of you may know me, I guess?

[Guh, she hates trying to cover it and just tackles the heart of the message.]

Look. I can’t remember anything since I was ghosted. [Or whatever the hell people are calling it.] Not this city, this turtle, or anyone.

But a doctor said that if I just hang around familiar things and people, even scents, then it might help me remember some things. I just, can’t force myself to remember them. So if you recognize me or know something else that could help I’d be grateful.

Hello, Korra. I'm Clark Kent.

[Those who've lost a sense can use other people's help to learn how to deal with it. A blind person learns how to see with their other senses, a mute one learns to speak with their hands.

But how is he supposed to help those who've lost memories? It's like losing a part of themselves, lie losing their identity. And Clark knows first hand how annoying that can be.]

You like playing mah jong... or at least you find it entertaining. We've played a couple times.

[He feels really bad, because he'd been so caught up in his friends arriving from Beacon Hills that he hardly noticed the effects of the curse around him.]

Um. I'm Stiles? We met at Jaime Reyes' tamale party. You promised me you'd teach me martial arts.

[Mark gives a little wave, and tries to put on his best smile. Poor Korra...]

Hey. I'd like to think we're friends. You swore to protect me, at least...

I'm Mark.

[It's been a while since Enjolras spoke to Korra but even so, she certainly stands out in his memory.]

We had a similar arrival here, in that we've both been told that we were here previously but had no memory of those facts. And you have abilities to manipulate the natural elements themselves. You did show me that once.

[Oh. Memory things. That... That is something that Vanessa doesn't know, but understands.]

Hey, Korra. I'm Vanessa. [She flashes a small smile.] We're friends.

[Julie waited until others answered. She didn't want to overwhelm Korra at all so here she is, talking to her a little while after her post.]

Hi, Korra. How's it going?

[Jack had warned her ahead of time, so Zatanna was fairly well prepared to hear it from Korra herself. There was still a twinge of sadness at the thought of her friend having lost so many memories...particularly those of her...but she pushed those aside and forced a warm smile in an attempt to help.]

Hey, Korra. I'm Zatanna, but my friends call me Zee.

['Of which you are one, obviously']

We've gone racing together a few times.

[ His voice was low, and cold like a deep freeze with no obvious inflections or emotions past some barely noticeable wry amusement. ]

That is such a shame.

[ It takes Jack two tries before he actually turns on the video feed, wondering how to approach this particular... situation. But when he does turn it on and speak, his voice is calm and encouraging. ]

Hey Korra. I think the doctor's idea is a good one but in the meantime, we'll try to fill you in on what you need to know.

My name's Jack... you work at my fishing shop.

The Avatar of what?

[Monet's reclining comfortably, sipping some fresh juice, the bottle is off screen, but the way she holds the glass suggests she's accustomed to wine.]

Korra you...you're the Avatar?

[He looks confused and hurt and betrayed and lied to...mostly because he is all of of those things.]

[Who's this tall blue douchebag, anyway.] Usually there's some god or another associated with that title...at least, where 'm from.

[Memory loss... Rory hasn't had it directly himself, but he does know how bad it can get - after all, Amy couldn't remember him before too and that did hurt.

But that's something else altogether.]

I'm sorry to hear that. [He's a nurse, yes, but these things aren't really his specialty...] I don't know you, but if you ever need help I can try to give it. I know somebody who experienced something like that before.

You can't remember things either?

[Clara looks bad. She's pale and there are some dark circles under eyes. But she's staring at Korra like she's a piece of a puzzle she needs to figure it out.]

My name is Barnaby Brooks Jr. We haven't formally met before now, so I'm afraid I can't be of much assistance.

[Although Barnaby wouldn't describe himself as an empathetic person, he knows all too well how disorienting it feels to not know where you are, or the people you once called friends.]

If you find out who you were close to before your memory loss, you may have a little luck. Spending extra time with them might jog an unexpected memory.

[And there it is. There she is. Just like Mako said. Not that she figured he'd have the bad taste to joke about it, but seeing Korra like this--it drives it all home, somehow.

There's clear concern on her normally harsh features as she switches on the feed.]
