[There’s an awkward pause before she says her name. The cadence in her words is a bit off, a combination of never using the network before (or not that she can recall) and the unknown expectation of who will answer.]

Some of you may know me, I guess?

[Guh, she hates trying to cover it and just tackles the heart of the message.]

Look. I can’t remember anything since I was ghosted. [Or whatever the hell people are calling it.] Not this city, this turtle, or anyone.

But a doctor said that if I just hang around familiar things and people, even scents, then it might help me remember some things. I just, can’t force myself to remember them. So if you recognize me or know something else that could help I’d be grateful.

Wait, did you mean back to my home world? [Her full attention has never been fuller.]

No - sorry, I haven't figured that out. [If he had, he sure as hell wouldn't still be here.]

I just meant help getting to your suite.

Oh. That’s okay, but thanks for the offer. [It’s not too big of a let down for her now that she thinks about. Whatever her home world is would be just as strange to her as Keeliai is.]

Who else lives here in the Metal Sector?

Well, a guy named Tony Stark and another guy named Conan live in our block of suites. [He doesn't really talk to them, but he knows who they are. He makes it his business to know that stuff, out of habit.]

Oh hey. Tony Stark said he knows me too. [That’s a bright shimmer of hope. If she’s already living next two people that should be familiar, then she won’t have to go too far out in Keeliai. Which is really just a weird and strange place.]

Maybe Conan doesn’t. [All she can do is shrug and wait to see if he’s one of the people who have answered like Arthur.]

By the way, do we owe any rent or bills or something every month? [Last thing she needs is some stranger demanding money one day.]

No, housing is provided. No landlords to answer to.

[Arthur frowns slightly, thinking.] Is there anything you do remember?

Um. Hmm. [A scratch of her head and half shrugs.] I remember how to use my bending.

[Squinching her mouth to one side of her face she finally nods.]

That’s about it.

Really? [Jesus. Arthur blinks in surprise.] So you remember your powers and, what, your name, and nothing else? Not even your home world?

Actually I didn't know my name until this guy Mako told me. [She tilts her head a bit while pushing her shoulders in.]

I don't even know what my home world looks like.

Christ. Your memory has to be buried in there somewhere.

That's what the doctor said. [It's McCoy, so he probably said "Christ" too, only with that eternally pissed off way that he does. if he had his voice]

I'll be trying to go out into the city when my home doesn't feel so- strange.

It'd be a lot easier to deal with this if we knew who did it and how.

[He rubs the back of his neck.] Have you had any dreams since this happened?

Dreams? [The question wasn't one was expecting.]

Uh, I think I had a couple, but I don’t remember them. [The only one she can remember isn’t appropriate and doesn’t make any sense at all.]

If you do, maybe you should try writing them down.

Our subconscious has weird ways of talking to us, sometimes.

I could try that I guess. Maybe it’ll help.

[It sounds a little far fetched, but she’s not going to turn away anything that could get even one memory back.]

[He hesitates a moment, then sighs.] And, if you need anything, I'm just next door.

[Either everyone here is helpful, or Korra just knew the right people. At least, that’s what she’s thinking when she hangs up.]
