Hi. My name’s. Korra. I’m the Avatar.
[There’s an awkward pause before she says her name. The cadence in her words is a bit off, a combination of never using the network before (or not that she can recall) and the unknown expectation of who will answer.]
Some of you may know me, I guess?
[Guh, she hates trying to cover it and just tackles the heart of the message.]
Look. I can’t remember anything since I was ghosted. [Or whatever the hell people are calling it.] Not this city, this turtle, or anyone.
But a doctor said that if I just hang around familiar things and people, even scents, then it might help me remember some things. I just, can’t force myself to remember them. So if you recognize me or know something else that could help I’d be grateful.

[He understands that, and he didn't came here to push for information. By now he has enough experience with teenagers to know that would probably not end well- and he's here to help.]
First, you have to click here. [And so he gives her easy instructions, it wasn't really that hard to find it- the consoles were pretty intuitive.]
action;
Wow, I thought this was going to be a lot harder. [She may seem a little distracted.] Can you read the tiles?
action;
[If her anger and her idea of punching things instead of dealing with them was anything to go by she wasn't so fast at emotions, but Clark refused to judge by just a single meeting.
He reads for her, and also writes it down in Chinese for her.] You understand this, don't you?
action;
Yeah, I can read it. But there’s some other stuff in my suite that I can’t. It’s in some other language.
[She points to the notepad on the coffee table in front of the couch. It’s riddled with English notes on grammar that gradually goes from poorly written to fairly legible.]
action;
You were trying to learn English- well, not trying, you were actually getting pretty good at it. I assume those were your notes- maybe some homework?
action;
They might be, I have no idea. [Of course she didn't write any notes in Chinese on the improbable chance of her forgetting everything.]
So if you know both languages, does that mean you're from my world too?
action;
Learning languages was just necessary.
action;
[Curious, Korra gets up and writes her name on the notepad; in Chinese of course. Since it's one of the few things she knows now, and she angles it so Clark can see it.]
Can you teach me a little bit then? Maybe that could help my memory get going.
[Name first because it's the simplest. This plan could work, she seems to have been really invested in it.]
action;
[And he does write her name in big, nice letters in English next to the Chinese. He has never done calligraphy, but he writes all day long for a living so his writing is pretty clear.
Next to it he writes both 'Naga' and 'Clark Kent' in simple characters, then in English next to it.] This means Naga, and this one is my name. If you want me to write any other names or words do tell me, but you should know I wasn't the one teaching you English before you lost your memory.
